Forget fancy toppings and gourmet ingredients, at I Love New York Pizza in Troy, you'll find something truly special: authentic pizza done right with flavor at a price thats affordable. And let me tell you, their chicken marsala pizza is a revelation! This isn't your average pizza with a few measly chicken chunks and a drizzle of sauce. Juicy, tender chicken bathes in a rich, mushroom-infused marsala sauce that perfectly complements the tangy tomato base. Every bite is an explosion of flavor, perfectly balanced and oh-so-satisfying. I honestly believe it might be one of the best chicken marsala pizza I've ever had in the capital region. The crust is not too thick, not too thin, with a perfect amount of chew. It's the kind of crust that holds its own without overpowering the toppings, creating the ideal foundation for flavortown. Every slice is a masterpiece, and at their prices, you won't feel guilty ordering another (or two). Speaking of prices, let's just say I Love New York Pizza lives up to its name in more ways than one. You won't find a better deal for such high-quality pizza in the entire Capital District. This is probably one of the last bastions of true, classic pizza places left, where they focus on quality ingredients and delicious simplicity, not trendy gimmicks. And the service? Fast, friendly, and exactly what you expect from a classic pizza joint. No fuss, no muss, just good vibes and good eats. So, if you're looking for an excellent pizza experience that won't break the bank, stop searching and head straight to I Love New York Pizza in Troy. You won't regret it! Just be sure to try the chicken marsala pizza – it's a game-changer!

Another place that I went to for over 20 years that I will never spend 50 buck at again. The anti pasta salad was pitiful and the extra cheese pizza actually had less cheese than normal. They just don’t care anymore. No celery with the wings and look at those big pieces of carrots. I paid 9.50 for that salad and I threw it away because it was just so garbage and dirty looking. I go there all the time and they still didn’t care about what they served me. I wanted to go to 3 BROTHERS across the bridge in Watervilet but they were close. If I ever go back to I Love out of convenience, I will only get a slice of cheese pizza.

I’ve been a repeat customer of I Love for many years. My 4 year old and I like to take walks downtown and stop for pizza. I had my second baby a few months ago who doesn’t sleep for anything so I found myself taking my kids out for a walk and pizza late at night. My mistake. We sat in I Love around 11 o’clock because my oldest wanted to eat at the table for a bit. A few women came in, seemed drunk but who knows, and 2 of them began arguing and threatening to beat each other up. A third woman was breaking them up. I commented that they shouldn’t be behaving as such especially with children present and was packing my things up to leave. The third woman ended up throwing her food at me and assaulting me. Workers of the restaurant just stood there the entire time. The whole situation could have been avoided had they asked them to leave when they began yelling at each other. After the woman put her hands on me, her friends were persuading her to leave so my children’s father asked the workers to lock the door until they left or the cops arrived and they replied “no, this happens all the time” maybe if they did more, it wouldn’t happen so often. I definitely will never spend another penny with this business, they truly do not care about their customers. My baby’s stroller was a couple of feet from this nonsense and my toddler sadly saw everything. The woman won’t get an assault charge because she didn’t leave a mark. What a joke...

This is the best place to walk in and grab a slice. The variety offered, and the fact it's some of the best pizza in the area. Ordering delivery, I've noticed it isn't quite the same quality with the pizza itself. But everything else I've ever tried, i.e. broccoli rolls. Beef patties. Calzones. It's all good. The service is usually just quick and to the point. No complaints really except some times you feel a little rushed. Also understandable when there is a lot of foot traffic, but nobody should ever feel rushed.

Atmosphere: the dine in area is cramped and has a lot of foot traffic since most people leave the building on that side. I personally wouldn't eat inside. Directly outside, seems like every time I go I get approached by a panhandler. Sometimes they can be a little aggressive. I won't give people $ but I always offer to grab them a slice of whatever they want inside and a drink. It's usually turned down, and once in awhile it's met with anger but it's never gotten violent. Parking however is a nightmare.

Not wheelchair friendly. Or...
