I loved absolutely everything about the dinner we had here last week. Incredibly reasonable prices too. Four of us stopped for something to eat after the Troy Hidden Garden Tour. This restaurant is further out from the others and was fairly quiet. We were seated immediately and waters brought to the table. The dining area is decently sized with maybe 6 tables or so. I want to emphasize how clean the restaurant was, including the restrooms. The service was extraordinary from beginning to end. The young man who waited on us is also one of the chefs, and he was excited for us to try things they had been working on. (The honey bbq sauce he brought for the wings was so good that I dipped my fries in it, too.) We were checked in on often as dishes were brought out. And the food! I will be dreaming about the chicken shwarma wrap I had until I get back to have another one. We were given bread and dipping oil while we waited for our food, which was brought out fairly quickly. Everything was delicious - from the wrap to the Greek salad that came with a wonderfully light dressing with a hint of lemon to the fries and wings. It was clear how much care is taken with preparation and how much thought has gone into the menu and food. They were generous enough to offer us baklava samples at the end of our dinner. This may honestly be one of or the best baklava I have had. It is homemade, and I was told they had been working all week on perfecting the recipe. It was light and airy, unlike some I have had that are heavy and dense and more like a paperweight. Next time I will buy a box to go home with. Overall, they are running a fantastic place. Everything about this experience was top-notch. I love seeing new restaurants opening in Troy and hope everyone will make a point to stop by and try their delicious food. Highly, highly recommend.

UPDATE - The restaurant website seems to be down. Technical issues? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We really enjoyed our first visit here. The food was excellent. First they brought over bread and flavored bread dip, with namesake herbs :-). The falafel was excellent - crunchy on the outside, but moist and tender on the inside, not mealy like some places. This was on a Greek salad, which had a tasty dressing with fresh greens, and the feta was both generous, creamy and high quality, unlike those tasteless, grity versions. When I had a bite of the chicken shawarma, I was surprised how much flavor it had. Really good! My family is Eastern Mediterranean heritage, and I often cook kabobs and kuftas on the grill, and this was one of the best I've come across when dining out. The atmosphere was spacious, clean and pleasant. We're coming back with the rest of the family!

Its nice to see a new restaurant open in this location, and the service was great. To me, the food wasnt very flavorful, especially compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. The plating was nice, everything seemed fresh, and the potatoes are crisp and fun to eat. Satisfying enough for a meal, but im not in a rush to come back

top tier spot. i love the falafel wrap and the chicken shawarma wrap - always fresh, flavorful, and excellent portions. the sauces are amazing too. ali, abdul, and malik go above and beyond every time - warm, hospitable, and generous. i’ve heard great things about the rest of the menu and can’t wait to try more. definitely one of my favorite places in town (in fact i think it's the only time i've gone out of my way to write a review for anywhere!).

it's clear that these guys care, and it comes through in the quality of the food they make. so dang good.

also, keep it in mind especially on mondays when everything is closed! they're open every day 9a-10p which is super rare round here.

love oregano thyme. thank you guys for making such quality food and making me feel...
