visited the Troy location today for lunch. We were impressed with the atmosphere and all the TV's. Food was alright. Please beware that everything is ala carte which makes it on the pricey side. My friend ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap and the waitress stated that it was stuffed with chicken and caesar salad to which my friend replied so it has the dressing and the parmesan cheese inside? Anila the waitress replied yes on dressing but the cheese is 50 cents extra. So the wrap is priced at $7.95 + .50 for cheese. Anila asked if she wanted to make it a deluxe for an extra $3.95. My friend repliedis it cheaper that way? Anila replied... "you do the math. Sandwich $7.95, fries $2.95, pop $2.85 or just pay the $3.95 extra. Sandwich arrived, no cheese, no dressing in the wrap. We asked for a side of caesar dressing, we waited so long that we asked another waitress to bring it. Anila asked if we wanted refills on our pops, we replied yes. We waited so long another waitress brought it. We asked for separate bills before we ordered, Anila brought everything on one bill. We asked her to separate it please. She brought my bill which was correct and my friend's bill still had both of our orders on it. She brought the bills back again. My friend's bill said NO Cheese for the wrap, she asked for cheese! I had the chicken lemon rice soup and although I appreciate that it is homemade each day, there was absolutely no flavor to it. The lemon rice soup at the coney island is better. While we were eating, Anila came to ask us to pay the bill, we stated we were eating and would pay afterwards, she came back 2 more times while we were eating and asked us to pay. Really???Food was alright, service poor, too pricey for lunch from work. We overheard the table next to us talking about how pricey the food was and how it was all ala carte. Guess we weren't the only ones thinking of this. The Chicken Caesar wrap can be found at the Detroit Burger Bar down the street and it is excellent and their price which is cheaper, includes the fries. I think we're done...
Read moreI agree with a previous reviewer that the prices here are far too high. Google image search the previous years' menus of this place, and you will see how drastically the prices have continuously increased. It had been a while since my previous visit, but I recently came here for lunch with a group of colleagues and ordered a Reuben (nothing to write home about and currently $14.95), making it a "deluxe" -- adding fries and a soda (yes, a soda counts as one of your two choices of sides) for a whopping additional $7.95. After tax and the 3% card processing fee they pass onto the customer, I was sitting at $25 even. Tipping $5 brought this to a $30 lunch -- for a Reuben, fries, and a cola. I could have eaten the same meal at a reputable deli for $10 less easily.
The price of their sides and the "deluxe" option is where the restaurant really gets it wrong. Their up-charge is the price of an entire lunch at some restaurants. $3.95 for an a la carte soda is ridiculous. Someone associated with Noni's responded to the last "too expensive" review saying their prices are based on market analysis of the area. I have eaten everywhere around here and I haven't come close to seeing another restaurant charging $3.95 for a pop (and no, your servers have never offered a to-go beverage here, either, but I have received them at other restaurants). I'd love to see the market analysis driving your prices. Are you competing with Comerica Park and Ford Field?
The food is just okay. The service is hit or miss depending on their mood. The atmosphere is fine. Price is the problem, and the five colleagues I had lunch with agreed we would not be going back due to the exorbitant pricing.
Noni's, do some more research and fix your prices and maybe we will come back. Instead, you are now the butt of the joke when we go to every other restaurant around and say, "Hey look, a fountain soda is only $X.YZ here! Can you...

I’ve eaten there several times and this is the first time I have left a review; shame on me. They deserve better from happy customers. What I like is that you immediately feel appreciated when you walk in. The decor is lovely and warm and always clean. Service is always EXCELLENT AND FRIENDLY AND PROMPT, prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous. Yesterday, my brother had the scrambled eggs and hash browns (and he’s picky about his eggs and hash browns)…he took half of the hash browns home, the portion was so large and crispy delicious. I had a taste for crepes and since Noni’s has the best around, we ventured out of our way to go there (I picked up my brother from Sterling Heights and it was well worth the drive back and forth to eat there). I chose the blueberry crepes and was not disappointed. You can choose one or two, which is appreciated, if one has a lighter appetite. Yesterday, I had two crepes and devoured them. Absolutely crooked perfectly, the right amount of sweet, blueberries and I had the whipped crème on the side and a sprinkle of power sugar. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! You need to go there! Great location, just North of 16 Mile Road on Rochester Road on the East side of the street. Close to freeways and everything. Give them a shout. Nice folks, delicious food and...
