Late night cookies, baked fresh on the spot? Say no more! We had a hunkering for some dessert on a Saturday night and stumbled upon Truckee Cookies.

You’re not getting questionably aged cookies in a glass display case that gets microwaved for you - Truckee Cookies are made to order and baked fresh (with love!). In a world where everything is supersized, these cookies are the perfect portion and you will find yourself wanting to try several because of this! We enjoyed every cookie but wanted to specifically give Candy in the Cookie Jar and Zac’s Birthday a shoutout as they fulfilled our late night cravings. Salted Dark Chocolate Walnut is a great “have a treat with your morning coffee” type of cookie as well!

If you order on site, your cookie order will take no more than 15 minutes. They take online orders and offer local delivery (perfect for the those late night munchies when you’re cozy in your PJs!). They also offer a discount if you order more - we splurged and got 9 cookies and are still trying to ration them out! The owners are super sweet and we hope more people try this local...

I LOVE this new local business!!! Warm homemade cookies delivered to your door just like a pizza!!! Does it get any better than that? My favorite flavor was the chocolate mint and the coconut macademia and my friend loved the dark chocolate with the walnuts. Such a cool experience stopping in at Truckee Cookies and the Kitchen. The cookies were excellent and so many great ‘flavors’ to choose from. Fresh and hot! Best part of the experience was visiting and chatting with the owners/chef while the cookies were being made.
