Grocery Outlet — Local services in Truckee

Cashier short changed me twice, second time it was five bucks and I gave him two fives and he argued I gave him a five and a one. They called the manager and I sat while four people go through lines and no one showed up. So I dumped my purchase on the ground because I refuse to support anyone who treats people like trash. As I waited for the bus a girl came and gave me the five dollars after reviewing video and I told her I'd really like to be refunded as the product and items lay on the floor. A guy came out and threw the items at me and in a really rude voice tried to justify their actions as people make mistakes although this was the second time this happened by the SAME cashier. Not to mention previously that I've purchased things there, they follow me around the store the moment I enter assuming I'm going to steal. This seems to be a reoccurring thing in this town,and quite sad and disheartening that people would do...

I started shopping at Grocery Outlet a few months ago, but I wish I would have started sooner. The Truckee Grocery Outlet is great. Most items are half the price of the Safeway across the street, including organic meat and produce. I've learned you do have to know where to look for certain things, like sometimes they have the organic berries at the front and sometimes they are near the milk/yogurt in the back. The store is always super clean and the employees are always super nice. And there's never really a long line to check out! 10/10...

Grocery Outlet is my go-to store for nearly everything I need.

The entire store is always clean, well organized, very well-kept, and very well-stocked with lots of incredible vegan and organic foods at the best prices you will ever find anywhere in town.

The staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful, willing to drop what their doing and go in the back to check if they have something you're looking for or find out the answer to a question you have.
