Disgustingly managed. Literally creates litter by having the same shopping center waste bins since I moved to Truckee in 1996. Usually has open trash receptacles with animals picking at food waste in front of Safeway Corporation in Tahoe National Forest. Tenants turn over constantly and the parking lot is ignored and simply not to the standard you would expect by now.

Someone please report them to Nevada County for assisting waste to the Town of Truckee through neglecting their public waste systems.

Also the homeless encampment that the neglect has inevitably caused is not really doing much for the long term environment surrounding the 24 hour business who owns and is the master tenant for the shopping center. Demand better town of...

Wearing a mask "Still Required as of 7•5•21" in the Middle of a Local Heat Wave..is TOTALLY UNBEARABLE, Not to Mention..A Matter of Personal Survival When Ridiculous Rules Prevail. The stores are mostly not what's needed for this area in the shopping center. The big draw here is the Safeway. Overall the shopping parking is not usually impossible and it's clean but would be nice to have more useful stores. You have to drive up and down dinner pass road to get to the other great places like the hardware store, mountain outdoor gear stores, DQ (haha) etc! Lucky...
