Disappointed in our experience here. We gave it two tries, but let down on both. The first day we came through at 730 and the COFFEE shop was out of coffee.. That just doesn't seem right. So we still ordered food and took it to go as we were on our way to Palisades to snowboard. Food was good that day (only reason for 2 stars), so the next morning we thought to give it another try in hopes to try their coffee, which we were able to this time. We ordered food to go again and hit the road. Now if you know the area at this time of day on a sunday you leave the parking lot straight into traffic with no real way to get out as you are in Slope traffic. So i opened my food and they gave us the wrong order. I couldn't eat what they gave me because I cant have dairy... So now I was stuck in an hour traffic with no food before we hit the slopes. I called and asked for a refund and the girl I spoke to was talking to the mgr asking what to do. The manager was very rude and there was a back and forth saying they gave me the correct thing. Finally I repeated what I was supposed to have and what they actually gave me and I think they realized by what they had just made that they did mess up.. After I told her for the 3rd they then realized it was wrong. I received no apology and told them there was no way to come back as we were in the thick of traffic. After this exchange I wanted a refund for both sandwiches but they would only give it to me for one. The manager in the background said it was ridiculous and said no refund for both sandwiches. terrible customer service on how this was handled, and I cannot believe the way the manager was talking in the background. She must not have known I could hear her. Wont be going back and If you do choose to go here, call ahead to make sure they have...

No real bagels here. This is not intended as a negative review, while I feel it is important to state the facts. The flavors are good if that’s what you’re here for. Outdoor seating (not heated) no indoor ā€˜table’ seating, comfy chairs living room style.

The bagel/lox sammie is more like an ultra-thin sandwich roll with a thin layer of cream cheese, which is appropriate considering the thin bread. Also, typically an open face sandwich is served with the same thing on both sides of the open slices of bread, hence the purpose of ā€˜open’ face. Otherwise, we would put it back together and eat it like a regular sandwich.

This sandwich is served with three tiny little pieces of salmon and a few pieces of onion, on one side, and tomato (swapped for avocado) with capers on the other half. Who wants to eat tomato with capers and cream cheese on the bagel anyway? And I don’t understand why there is an avocado in this mix.

I think somebody needs to go back to the drawing board on this sandwich, or give it a different name, it’s not the definition of a lox and...

Quintessential Mountain town Cafe. Decent coffee and delicious food. I indulged with a chocolate chip pumpkin muffin, an Everything Bagel with Egg and Cheese and the amazing Avocado Toast. The muffin was moist, soft and perfectly sweet. The chocolate dark, the pumpkin fresh and the powdered sugar dusting gave it just the right amount of flavorful combinations. The Egg and Cheese Bagel was also moist and tasty. The cheese was full bodied and the egg rich. Finally, the Toast. Worth the recommendation. Perfect sum of buttery toast, fresh Avocado šŸ„‘, mashed, soft feta cheese, arugula and ripe tomatoes. Some salt topped it all off. Mouthwatering.

The Cafe itself is vibrant yet small. Steam punk ambiance and a lovely mural. The small room makes it a little noisy with crowd.

The staff was curt yet helpful. Like the recommendation for the Toast. Definitely a loyal local base of customers that they...

Zuri Coffee is a hidden gem! Break away from American style coffee shops and try a Swiss-run coffee house with a focus on quality. In addition to pastries, there is a large menu of creative sandwiches, salads, avocado toasts and more. The coffee is perfectly roasted. The bakery makes their pastries daily inhouse, apart from their croissants, which are imported from France. The service is exceptionally friendly, they even helped us select a nearby hiking trail to explore. There is comfortable seating, strong Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. The design of the space is curated with interesting light fixtures and design elements. We were just visiting the area and made to feel welcome!
