My order: Chocolate dipped cone Chocolate Oreo blizzard Cherry dipped cone in a cup

What they tried to give me at the window: Chocolate dipped cone VANILLA Oreo blizzard CHOCOLATE SUNDAE

First they did not have a cherry cone. Which I understand maybe they don’t have any of the cherry dip right now. That’s fine I get it. So I go for the chocolate dipped cone in a cup. When they repeat the order back they said I ordered a CHOCOLATE SUNDAE. I politely said “no a chocolate dipped cone in a cup” they proceeded to say “same thing”. No it is NOT!

On top of that they said they can’t do a chocolate blizzard. What’s hard for me to believe is that they can’t at least put chocolate (which I KNOW they have at this point) in the vanilla ice cream and mix it up. So long story short I end up with a VANILLA Oreo blizzard.

Anyway I get to the window and what do they try to hand me? A CHOCOLATE SUNDAE!! I said “No that’s not what I ordered” then they were like “what did you want?” So I had to show them the chocolate dipped cone I ordered and said “This in a cup”. So they did and dumped it in the cup and I left frustrated.

On top of all that I drive home (5 minutes) and the blizzard is pretty much melted. Not a huge deal since they were nice enough to give me a lid…. PSYCH!! NO LID!!!

This location is run by complete imbeciles. Yesterday I ordered a burger with no pickles or onions only to bite in and now have the taste of pickles and onions. I understand mistakes get made from time to time, but I am not exaggerating when I state this is the fourth time this has happened. What is so complicated about a cook looking at the order and seeing no pickles and onions on the actual order. I complained to headquarters and I received a template response that they would forward this to the franchise owner. It's now been 3 weeks and of course no response.

Yesterday I went in and told the front order person, please make absolutely positive the cook does not put pickles and onions. He has made this mistake three times in the past, no pickles or onions. I get my burger and guess what? PICKLES AND ONIONS!

This is not the worst thing in the world, but to take a bite into your burger and now you have the taste of something you hate is very frustrating. It's also frustrating to have to open the burger and pick out onions and pickles and then finish your burger with that smell all over your fingers. Again one time, mistakes happen. BUT FOUR TIMES!

I work in Truckee once a week and only get 30 minutes to grab a quick bite and there are not a lot of choices for fast orders.

Clearly this franchise owner could care less about customer service and taking the time to train...

Fast food joint with a drive-thru, located in a medium-sized plaza with Truckee DMV. They have a creek running next to them so watch out for mosquitos in the spring and summer!! They serve burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, and desserts. They are known for their Blizzards, which are blended soft serve ice cream mixed with various ingredients like candies, cookies, and nuts. The Blizzards are very thick and DQ employees are supposed to flip your Blizzard cup upside down when handing you your order to prove this to you.

Haven't been to a DQ in a long while. They don't have a big menu but their burgers and Blizzards were big. Blizzards have a better size selection than the McDonald's McFlurrys which are tiny.
