The epitome of overpriced poor quality americanized "chinese" food. The restaurant was ill prepared for Christmas eve... our 530pm reservation for 6 was seated on time and we placed our order with 10 minutes but weren't served for nearly 2 hours later .. one hour and fifty two minutes to be exact. After an hour and a half they offered our table of six a "free" bowl of soup sized for 2 to 3, for us to share which was about 1/2 cup per person ... it was warm gelatinous egg drop soup (1 star). Our server Jalen was friendly and attentive (4 stars) and neither the poor quality of the food nor the incapacity of the kitchen (1 star) was his fault and he did bring the entries out together. The food was of laughable proportions - as if you had split it or shared it family style and what was on your plate was your share of the order not the full plate itself. The $21 honey chicken was agreeable to the guest that had it (3 stars) but nothing remarkable, the honey shrimp was not appreciated by either guest as it was salty sugary sticky mess tasting of something but not honey and it was five small breaded shrimp for $24 (1 star). All three of these dishes were served on a obtuse anount of greasy fried rice noodle that tasted like greasy Styrofoam and were really not edible but did help to distract from how little food you had received. The lo mein noodle were panda express plated (1 star). Awful. And if you are saying to yourself ... "hey whats wrong with Panda Express" then PF Changs is the right place for you. If you expect chefs that can prepare high quality entrees worthy of a $25 to $30 price, with expert use of ingredients other than salt, cornstarch, and oil, and use vegetables, and spices to reward your pallet then this is not the place for you. Of note - my family were the only Asians in the entire packed restaurant... that ought to tell it all right there. My pepper steak was suspiciously missing the peppers and while the beef was a moderate quality... it was maybe 3 ounces of meat in a sickenly salty gelatinous gravy (2 stars). My wife had two appetizers .. a make yourself "signature lettuce wrap" that was, unbelievablely, served with iceberg lettuce not nappa, asian greens,or even or a quality romain greens to wrap the 1 cup of chopped chicken filling for $15.50 !!! (1 stars) and her kung poa brussels sprouts which were not bad, but not necessarily great, might have actually garnered a stronger rating if it weren't for the fact it was 8 pieces, halved, for $11 (2 stars). Rice ... the staple and best supporting actor for all Asian dishes ... was, I swear to god, minute-rice (0 star). My daughter got a virgin peach boba breeze that was 99% ice, bottled peach juice znd 6 little boba and gone in 30 seconds. We ate Christmas dinner here because our favorite place- taste of Sichuan in Hillsboro was closed due to a kitchen fire. The atmosphere was upscale feeling, but super noisy making regular and easy conversation a tiring shouting event and since we like and enjoy each other's company was not ideal (although to be fair taste of sichuan can be pretty noisy too). Bathrooms were clean and up kept. Changs is to Chinese like Olive Garden is to Italian but at least OG has the decency to be mid-priced in line with the quality of the food. Overall - PF Changs is a terrible overpriced hot mess and did not warrant any of the $185 bill.

I used to be a huge fan of PF Chang’s. It was expensive, sure. But it was always dependable Chinese food I could rely on to be consistently good and tasty. Well, not anymore… The last 2 times I’ve gotten take out and delivery from here, it has been borderline subpar at best. Last time I didn’t write a review because I figured everyone can have an off night. But after what we experienced tonight, I felt compelled to say something. First of all, our delivery was supposed to be here in an hour and ended up taking well over two hours to arrive. I understand it’s a busy Friday night, so that was just a mild annoyance. But I was starving by the time the food was delivered and was very much looking forward to my normal PF Chang’s quality fare. Sadly that was not to be. The hot and sour soup was cold and bland. The egg rolls were soggy. The kung pao chicken and the Chang’s spicy chicken were both gummy and congealed and completely flavorless. And this wasn’t just a matter of popping it in the microwave to freshen it back up either. Our entire meal was completely inedible. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say our “entire” meal. The fortune cookies were still good. But other than that, everything else went straight into the garbage can. I would’ve been better off giving the $85.00 away. At least then someone could’ve gotten some use out of it. Bottom line, we will NOT be returning to PF Chang’s in the foreseeable future. Not in person, and not for pickup or delivery. — 2/4/22 Update: Owner contacted me on my review and referred me back to the contact us section on their website. Yeah. No thank you. I’m not wasting my breath or my time again to fill out another form. My opinion stands.

1/11/23 PF Chang’s in Bridgeport was ok but not worth the time or expense in my opinion. We’d been shopping so it seemed like a great idea to stop in for a nice, tasty lunch. We’ve been to PF Chang’s many times and the food has always been very good, until today. It was pretty quiet on this Wednesday afternoon. The kung pao shrimp was not very hot (temp) and had a certain mushy texture. I spent $60 on lunch. I think it was $29 for the kung pao shrimp alone. The lettuce for the chicken wraps was white with brown spots on it. Our server, the bartender, although mostly friendly and attentive, had massive acrylic nails on. I don’t care about nails as long as there is regular hand washing. There was zero hand washing. I watched her go back and forth between clearing plates, making drinks, handling dirty glasses and serving food. She didnt wash her hands once and she went back and forth, cross contaminating what she was serving. In total we paid over $100 for two lunches, one appetizer and two drinks. One of those drinks being a simple iced tea. The manager spent a lot of time behind the bar chit chatting with staff and seemed to be a distraction to the bartender as she tried to do her job. It just was not at all what were used to seeing at PF Chang’s. So, if you’re sensitive to potential germ contamination and don’t enjoy over paying for mediocre food, you may want to find another food place in Bridgeport.

Covid 19 does not give you the right to Bad Service. My wife and I went to end of year shopping on 29th Dec. We had a light lunch so we were hungry around 4 in the afternoon. We went to P F Chang's because it was near. Then there were waiting which we did not mine at all. When they let us know that our table is ready, we went there something to eat. We order Tea, Vegetable Lettuce Warp, Seabass, Kung Pao Shrimp and Eggroll. We got our first Eggroll within ten minutes which was not bad. Then another forty minutes no drinks were served and waiter comes by and told us that he is going to check our food. Another 10 Min. passed by he comes back told us that they are very short on staff plus they sold Vegetable Warp, and kitchen did not told him until just now. Then he disappeared. While I was waiting our food for another fifteen Min. I asked a manager. When she came she said that Kitchen just told her that Vege Warp was all sold out and ... Then she said that three of her cook did not show up that day and they are very very short staffed. Yes, I understand that we are going through rough time with Covid and Snow plus cold weather. I do understand that what I do not understand is that why my food is not served within reasonable time and if something is out they should informed us right away not forty min. later. Then another twenty min. by the manager brought us the rest of the food. When I tasted my shrimp kung pao shrimp, it was over cooked and the shrimp tasted like a steak meat. Then I called a manager that my Shrimp Kung Pao Shrimp is over cooked. She said Okay and took the Shrimp Kung Pao. I waited another twenty min. no information regard to my dish and my wife finished her dish so I asked a check. My waitress told me that Shrimp Kung Pao will be free if I wait just little longer. There was no sign of that Manager who took my dish. This is very poorly poorly organized restaurant and I strongly do not recommend this place to anyone. This is BAD and was not acceptable. You could be short staff would be your problem, not mine. If you told me that dish which ordered is sold out then I would not ordered that dish. If you told me that we have to wait little longer because you are short staffed I would understand. Same thing as if you just told me that you are simply sorry for your mistake, I would not write this review on...

-Taste: Depending on your culinary preference, I think they're very good. Variety: A lot to choose from. -Sit-down experience: Good to very good. The ambiance is generally pleasant; with open spaces and mellow lighting against dark wood. Servers are attentive and when there aren't as many customers the service is fast, when they're slammed it gets slower. But, that's to be expected these days with less manpower to do things. The bar is too small to fit a larger amount of customers; if you just want to go there to eat by yourself and sit at the bar, you're probably not going to find room. -To-go orders experience: this is where the 1.5 star is taken off. If you order something you're going to pick up at a certain time, you'll have to add 20-30 or even more minutes from your original pick time at this PF Chang's. It's like they start making your order when you get there to ask-for your order. Granted, Grubhub, Doordash, Ubereats and etc. have made things worst for those of us who like to pick up our own food and it's made orders take significantly longer and production of food more inefficient than restaurants without these services offered. Saying that, it seems to me PF Changs tends to cater to delivery orders over the to-go pick up orders as the wait times for delivery service people tend to be less than those who are there to pick up their own food. I've witnessed someone from Grubhub waiting for the orders for 3 customers get theirs before I did (I had to wait an additional 20 minutes) even though the pick-up time on the receipts of the Grubhub customers was the same as mine. In fact, it would seem to me that the wait times for pick-up orders is the same as if you just went there and ordered your food at the counter to-go. In other words, ordering online to pick-up your food at a certain time is absolutely useless since this PF Changs doesn't manage it efficiently. You might as well go there yourself and contribute to the workload of the staff and ordering it from a server instead of doing it online. -Value: Based on price compared to similar restaurants (including happy-hour) and the less than optimal to-go experience, I'd say for the price it's so-so and is...
