I decided to try this highly-rated Italian Restaurant for the first time and they did not disappoint! This is a great meetup spot for Lunch and there are many cute booths for two. There is also a well-lit bar area with TVs, plenty of areas to accommodate small and large parties, and ample parking. I love the black and red coloring throughout the interior on the white background of the building! The atmosphere is very comfortable and goes well with meeting coworkers, friends, family, and other special people. They even turn the lights down a little before dinner to set a romantic mode. They have a Lunch menu, but I ordered the 'Potato Gnocchi with Broccoli' and added Portobello Mushrooms from the Dinner menu. It was exquisite! 🤌🏾 I carry seasonings to add to the food that I eat out because sometimes the flavors need boosting. This was not the case at this wonderful place. No seasoning was required and the serving was ample enough to eat some and take some home. I complemented my meal with their very tasty 'Red Sangria'. My companion had the 'Pasta Carbonara' with added Chicken and it was delicious as well. The bits of prosciutto were a delightful addition to that dish. 🤌🏾 It was complemented by a 'Josh Red Blend' that was too tart and strong for my sensitive palate. I can not wait to go back and try more dishes and the pizza looks inviting as well. 👍🏾😋👍🏾
I had already left a previous shining review from my 1st visit. The 2nd visit involved a calzone that was filled with many vegetables (just the way I like it), but did not stay together well.
On this 3rd visit, I had a birthday coupon and I was prepared to try something new. I ordered the Calamari, a side of Broccoli Romano, and a side of Pasta. The side of Pasta gave me a choice of 4 sauces and 3 Pastas. I choose Alfredo with Penne and added their huge Bella mushrooms to my Pasta and Broccoli! 😋 So delicious!!! And the Calamari had the lightest, tastiest, and most flavorful breading that I've ever tasted. The marinara sauce that came with the Calamari paired well with my Alfredo Penne to make a delicious Rosé when I ate the leftovers the next day. They can do no wrong in my eyes ever! I am already planning a return...
Read moreI hate to post this, but we had the worst experience. I walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. I stood at the podium to wait to be greeted. An employee is standing in front of me but says nothing. I patiently wait when another employee walks up. She stands there awkwardly as he instructs her to go clean tables. They both walk away, never acknowledging my presence. I wait for a few minutes and the girl returns and starts looking at a tablet. Finally she looks at me and asks if I had been helped. She takes my name and number. I ask how long the wait is and she said 15 minutes. I was a bit surprised, considering there were many open tables. We sat and waited along with 3 other families. After about a half hour, we were seated. We sat at the table for another 20 minutes with no acknowledgement. The poor lady beside us knocked over her drink. Her and her husband had to sit there for about 5 minutes with no help, while her drink dripped off the table. We finally left. I believe they only had one server and a hostess working the front. I am compassionate to the fact that they may have been short staffed, but the lack of acknowledgement is what was alarming. It takes 5 seconds to let someone know you will be with them shortly. The server was on the floor, behind the bar (which we were sitting beside). He didn’t look stressed, busy, or like he cared at all. They also had a score of 85 which is very concerning. I want to support local businesses and hate to write negative reviews, but the lack of attention to customers is disturbing and needed to...
Read moreMy colleagues and I go to Bambinellis consistently, as it is very close to our office. The other night, I went in alone for dinner instead of sitting in an hour of traffic and had a terrible experience. The server was nice until he had a large party come in that made me virtually invisible. I had to get my own water and had to try to find him after I ordered a beer and it never came. I finally got food (which wasn't correct but I lost patience in having to wait, so I took it). The worst thing was that after I had my leftovers bagged, I left them on the table while I went to the restroom. When I came back, my leftover bag was there, but my table had been cleared...bread was gone, beer was gone, water was gone, etc. The server said sorry, but was anxious to get back to his other table, so I paid and spoke with the manager as I left. He evidently was the one that had done it, and all his response was is that he thought someone had left and forgotten their food. Really?! Why would you not ask the server first? It made no sense. He was rude, not sorry in the least, and didn't offer to even replace the beer. I could not believe the treatment...this "manager" needs lessons in customer service. I am shocked that this type of treatment occured in Bambinellis, but it certainly makes me want to rethink frequenting it as often as we do...and I definitely won't be back as an individual, as one person obviously isn't important enough to receive...
