Everything was fine UNTIL we were ready to pay. I was the first to order and the first thing I said was, "I'm on my own ticket", then ordered. Then one couple I was with said, "we're on a ticket together", and they ordered. Then the other couple I was with said they were on a ticket together then they ordered also. 🥣🥪 After we were all done eating and the girl brought the check it was all on one bill, and we asked her to separate it. She had been very kind up until that point, then she turned around and said with a snotty tone, "We don't do separate checks... It says so on the menu." And walked off. 😠 None of us had read the ENTIRE menu, we each just looked in the section we wanted to order from & chose pretty quickly, & that was it. I've never read the ENTIRE menu at a restaurant. But most important was that when I first said I was on my own ticket it was AT THAT TIME that it was her responsibility to say that they don't do separate checks. 😠 And she can't said she didn't hear any of us say it, because she was looking right at each person when they said it and had no problem hearing the actual order. So, we were all scrambling to put enough cash together to pay the bill. None of us should have had to put the entire bill on one of our own credit cards, & not going to pay ATM fees at the end because the employee didn't tell us before we ordered. If given the info to start with, the ATM could have been an option, but not if you withhold information & hit us with it at the end & we're feeling forced to use it. I was a server for almost a decade, and that's not how you treat your customers. Be honest and give the information up front and let them decide from the beginning, and you would have gotten a MUCH bigger tip. $$$$ And if you tell them at the beginning and they decide to not eat there at that time, at least they know and can be prepared the next time they come and they can have cash with...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would. We sat down and the waitress asked if we wanted drinks, two of us said that we would start with some waters and the waitress completely ignored the 3rd person in our party and left for the two waters before the other person could even speak. The beers were 7.50 a piece which is high for a beer in my opinion. We started off by ordering the nachos which were awful. The chips were stale, the cheese wasn’t even melted all the way and the chicken tasted like rubber. I ordered a grilled cheese for my meal and it was mediocre at best. The bread wasn't crispy at all and it tasted like thin pancakes with cheese in between them. We wanted to split the check and they said that we couldn’t do that. I asked if you could just write two separate tickets then and she still said no. She did tell us that we can pay with only two cards as long as we told her each amount we wanted on the cards. She gave us a pen and said, here you can figure out the split and wrote some prices down for us. After about 5 minutes of trying to decipher her handwriting and trying to find where she wrote everything down at on the ticket we finally split the checks. She runs the cards and we get it back and they had added a fee of $1.75 for not using cash. Needless to say I will never be returning to this place and I’m surprised that they are still...
Read moreI stopped in for a few beers after a bike ride. While having those beers, I got hungry and developed a craving for a pizza. I discovered it would be more economical to order two pizzas and have them delivered (as long as another person wanted the pizza). I asked the bartender and he agreed a pizza sounded good. We split the cost. All was good until the delivery at which point a manager told me I wasn't allowed to eat the pizza delivered by Dominos due to a policy and "health food" concerns. Had an overall pleasant experience but just like the old adage goes, "it only takes one time". If domino's can't pass health food inspections they wouldn't be in business so no excuse. This was simply, it's not our food so you can't eat it. All this did was deprive the bartender of money in the form of tips. I am going to get a few more beers and I am going to eat this pizza. You only hurt your bartender with this decision. Policy 😂. Am I hurting anyone or bothering anyone eating a pizza you happened to not make? As someone who didn't know and was a first time visitor, who happened to make an acquaintance in the bartender, a warning and future acknowledgement would have been much more appropriate. Instead I now have to leave. Overall great time and good people. You made a bad decision and this is how I assess...
