Just Not Worth the Your Time or Money!!!!!
OK, I am a huge Denny's fan! However, this location is under new management, with a new wait staff and a new cook. And after 3 bad dinning experience in a roll, I'm so done with this location! Our 1st bad visit was on a Sunday morning, we were told it would be a 15min wait. But, the girl taking names & seating customer past us over and seated 3 other groups before us. A 15min wait turned into a 45min wait without an explanation or an apology. Our 2nd bad visit was a late dinner on a Thursday, I ordered the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet, which ended up being the skimpiest portion ever because the cook left out the chorizo. I immediately got our waitress' attention and explained that the chorizo was missing. 10mis later, the manager comes over and states that I have to pay $5 for more chorizo. At this point I start getting irritated and very firmly state that I'm not about to pay extra for something the was shorted from my meal to begin with! My 3rd bad visit was the following Sunday morning. I ordered the Lumberjack breakfast which took forever to come out from the kitchen. When it was finally brought to the table, the silverware was dirty, the Pancakes were so cold that heap of butter on top never even began to melt, even after placing the butter between both pancakes. If that wasn't bad enough the ham on the plate was burnt, the bacon and eggs cold as well. Talk about adding Insult to injury, time after time... don't bother to waste your time with this Denny's location.
Denny's surely is America's Diner!
I've always loved eating at Denny's. They have great food and great service. I'm so happy to see their dinning room back open. Stopped in after a long week and another long day at work. Surprisingly, this location has a more extensive "limited menu" compared to their location at Oracle a, nd River. I choose the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet with tortillas and a Diet Coke with no ice for my dinner selection this night. Be for warned, if you prefer mild or medium salsa or if you have acid reflux, then the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet isn't for you. Made with chorizo, fire-roasted bell-peppers and onions, mushrooms, seasoned red skinned potatoes, jalapenos. Topped with grilled seasoned chicken breast, cheddar cheese a spicy five pepper sauce, and Pepper Jack queso. Served with your choice of toast or tortillas. My only complaint is that the tortillas were old and rubbery. Like chewing on an old bike inner tube, couldn't even ripe a bite off the tortillas with my teeth because they...
Read moreThis place is terrible. The last 3 dining experiences have been horrible. The food is sloppily made, usually cold, and flavorless. Initially, I chalked it up to a bad night but it appears that there are consistent problems at this location that are not being addressed properly by the management team GM included.
The dining room is usually trashed. Tables are left dirty from the previous customers and the servers pick up their meager tip and leave the tables filthy.
Just imagine the 1st impression of the dining room while being escorted to a questionably clean table. Think about seeing several tables and the restrooms unkept. Running out of toilet paper and paper towels in the restroom, as well as the smell of death, lingers out of the restroom and into the dining area I feel sorry for the customers who have sat along the window near the restrooms.
On this visit, my family spent 90 minutes at the restaurant and a majority of it was either waiting for food or waiting for remade food which tastes just as bad as the 1st time late cold food was sent out. Our order came in stages instead of all together so my family was waiting, waiting, waiting, for one thing, or another.
Remaking food and taking care of the bill is decent however diners consistently leave with a sour taste in their mouth from such a ratchet experience.
This location is regularly short staffed with 1 cook, 2 servers, no dishwasher, a dining area full of upset customers and a night manager who is obviously overwhelmed.
This was once one of my family's favorite places to eat at but because of this last miserable experience and in addition to the past few horrible experiences we have had, as a result of all this negativity we absolutely will not be returning EVER!!
Denny's used to be a prestigious name and a great place to come with a family-friendly environment but now it is a sham and a disgrace to its original founders.
I hope this place improves its quality of service and the quality of food that is severed to the general public. This location needs a complete overhaul of...
