My first time coming to a Dutchbros and all I can say is that it was disappointing. The drive thru has two lines that merge into one, but there isn’t a designated intercom to order. Instead, the two workers are forced to move back and forth between the cars helping place orders. The weather is over 100 degrees so of course the workers are constantly switching out so that they don’t overheat. The business should provide shade covering or at the very least hats, fans, etc. if the workers are going to be outside. There was no protection from the heat for the workers or drivers opening their windows. Meanwhile Chik-fil-A, Dutch Bros neighbor, has a sun cover, fans, mist, hats, and sippy drinks for their employees.
The business should also invest in menu placards that hang off the tablets the workers use for orders. It was incredibly confusing trying to order without visual assistance. I had checked the menu online prior to visiting but had forgotten the name of the drink. Having a menu in front of me would have allowed me to remember what the drink was called. Chick-fil-A, Dutch Bros neighbor, has placards on their employee's order tablets.
Moving on, the drinks were subpar. The drinks I ordered tasted like overly sweetened milk. I wouldn’t have known there was any coffee in it if I hadn’t ordered it. The taste was not great and the experience was poor as a customer and I felt bad for the workers in the sun. The business owners...

Don't use right drive thru lane, because the left lane orders are taken first even if the right lane has cars that arrived first and have been waiting. Broista took orders from left lane even though the right lane cars arrived first. The two cars in front of me sped off and when he finally came over I asked why the left lane was taken care of first when the cars were just pulling in as opposed to the right lane which already had cars waiting. She then said that she can't control "it" that she has to take orders in zigzag formation. So then I asked her why didn't she didn't do the zigzag formation to which then she replied well I have to do the next car and then I can start the zigzag formation. I understand they alternate cars (I use valencia dutch 5x a week) but it doesn't make sense to me that there were four of us waiting as she walked out in the right lane. Then a white car pulls in the laft lane, she takes that order, a red car pulls in behind white car then she takes that order. Finally a second broista comes out after the two cars sped off and took my order, which was when I started asking questions and then the girl that came out first came over which was then when then said conversation happened. This amazing girl remembers my order, corrects it when she catches others getting it wrong and had the BEST personality. She's the reason my tip option stays at 25% and I'm about to start telling the others to thank her when they thank me for the tip. Please pay attention to your lines in there morning. No reason someone should be sitting in place for 10 minutes for a worker to take the order of the person who just pulled up seconds ago in the second line. Please TAKE A TABLET with you to get orders. I now refuse to give my very simple order to anyone who thinks they have the ability to memorize it. You're wasting drinks and time when you mess it up and have to remake it.
There are other employees who have great personalities as well, don't get me wrong. Some of these kids need a second go...
