Alright, so as you should be able to easily see, this is a spaghetti place. It’s not an Italian place, it’s not a fusion place, it’s not a “spaghetti with a twist” place… I visited because we thought it would be a funny story. Perhaps the market is for spaghetti lovers who cannot take the time to cook at home and that’s fine. I don’t quite understand the rationale of some reviewers who critique the fact that there’s nothing fancy about it.
The spaghetti itself is good. Nothing fancy, nothing horrible. It’s standard spaghetti; no veggie noodles, whole grain, red lentil, or anything else.
The marinara sauce was okay. This, in my opinion, should be where most of the time and energy is spent. It is what you are truly tasting. I can grab Sockarooni pasta sauce for $3-$5 at various stores and it adds peppers to the mix. I won’t say it is BAD, but it is somewhat bland and they don’t offer any add-ins. If they offered choices or the ability to add other items in, it would probably have a great impact.
The meatballs were pretty good. I am not typically a meatball fan, but figured it was worth a try. We thought they were nice. Again, not great, but not horrible. However, this is where the real cost is. Around $2.50 for a single meatball.
Their garlic bread was good. I think they did a fair job with this and it pairs with the spaghetti.
Their cheesecakes taste like those pre-made Walmart cheesecakes and I am ashamed for paying $4 for a tiny slice.
I generally don’t agree with getting spaghetti while dining out. It’s such a simple dish that i can make at home and taste just as good or better, especially for the cost that most restaurants charge. This place has a reasonable cost for their spaghetti. If you like meatballs, that becomes slightly less so, depending on how many you get. It’s not the best spaghetti I’ve ever had, and it’s also just spaghetti, but if you want to quickly pick up spaghetti instead of making it or paying $10 per person, then this is one of the only options you have.

Read moreThe older lady working was very talkative but rambling on about things she knew nothing about and acted liked my husband and I were supposed to care for 15 min after we got our food! The girl in the back with dyed hair looked very uncomfortable where she rambled on about nothing but nonsense and rumors. The food was lacking any type of seasoning and very bland. This honestly tastes like pure marinara sauce and noodles. The meat balls were also unflavored and honestly Oregano's has better meatballs for a better price and are bigger! None of the actual food is cooked there as it's sitting in very large hotel pans inside warmers. My husband and I are very disappointed in the food and disgusted with the old lady working there who wouldn't stop rambling about things she honestly knows nothing about and obviously loves to spread rumors! We are never going to this place again because you can make better food from the grocery store with any sauce and have it taste so much better! If they want to make the food better they should add some flavor with seasoning, garlic, cooking wines and do something other than buy generic food from Walmart and pass it off for your own...
Read moreFirst time here. I've been meaning to try this place for a couple months and finally went in the other day. All in all I have to say I was pretty happy with my experience there. First of all, the staff were really friendly and did a great job. I got my order quickly and nothing was missing. Inside was clean with a kind of no frills vibe (they only serve a handful of menu items, after all). I got the small bucket of spaghetti with 2 meatballs, garlic bread (that came with the spaghetti order), and a side of extra marinara. For a take-out spaghetti meal I thought it was really good. The meatballs were fantastic! The noodles weren't under or over cooked. The marinara was tasty. And the garlic bread was really good. If I had to nit pick, it would be that they were a little skimpy on the marinara with my order (glad I ordered some extra). And also that the marinara was maybe just a little under-seasoned for my taste, though that's just me. And it was still good. Overall, a good first experience. I'll...
