In my 20 years of military service and having visited restaurants around the world this is tops the list as my WORST customer service experience ever! Right from the get go it started off bad. We arrived and were told that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. They put us on their text notification (which is a neat service that shows your place in the wait), but when we checked it our names were no longer listed and we never received a text. When we went inside the hostess didn't recognize us and tried to put us on the wait list again. We get to our seats and the waiter does a fly by and tells us he'll be right with us. OK, lets get our drink and food on! A few minutes later he comes back to take our drink orders and we wait. One person in our party went to the restroom (which was filthy!) and walked by the bar on the way back and told us our drinks should be up shortly because they saw them on the bar (we ordered unique and easily identifiable cocktails). It took the waiter 10 minutes to bring us our drinks. He took our food order and we looked forward to eating some good Mexican food as we're regular customers at their other locations. During our wait a few tables away a group of young ladies were seated and served by the same waiter. I don't know what went through his mind, maybe a huge tip or whatever, but he proceeds to spend all his time at their table and completely ignoring us. He walked past us on at least three occasions and never once asked if anyone wanted another cocktail even though 3 of the 4 glasses were empty. On the forth pass I inquired about our food as I noticed a table served by a different wait staff and arrived after us receive their entrees before us. He comes back in less than a minute with our food... One person in our party ordered fajitas and as everyone knows they come served on a sizzling platter. Ours didn't even have steam rising from the platter! I refused to accept the service and he took the food back. At this point I asked the hostess to see the manager. She asked what the reason was and I told her I had a complaint. She then asked if she could take care of anything. I asked her if she was a manager or supervisor and she replied "no." I then asked is she was a hostess and what could she possibly do to rectify the issue. The manager took her sweet time coming to the table and already had an attitude. I should've read previous reviews about this place because we experienced the exact same treatment! She never once apologized didn't acknowledge any of the issues. I told her that I wanted to close my tab and leave. She took my credit card and never came back. The waiter brought the credit card receipt and just chucked on the table and walked away. This location is a huge disappointment from the management down to the hostess! I will be notifying their corporate office/owner. Want great service? Go to the Prince location! I've reviewed our service there previously and it...
Read moreAre you looking to get ripped off at a place that used to be a T.G.I Friday’s with Mexican food that you would expect to find in Billings, Montana instead of an hour from the Mexican border? Then look no further! As soon as you are seated, someone comes to make you some salsa using what very clearly seems to be the worst of canned tomatoes. I’ve had spicier and better tasting tomato sauce on a pizza than what they give at this place. If you’re meeting up with a friend, it doesn’t matter even if you have separate checks or sit separately at the bar, they will only give you one bowl of salsa and charge you if you want more. They also won’t fill the bowl anywhere close to the rim, but you will get dirty looks and a snarky, petulant response if you kindly ask for more. Buyer beware though, because you’ll be asked if you would like some guacamole and they will conveniently leave out that it costs $10 more. Don’t expect it to look light-green either. It’s darker than the hearts of the owners of this place. Once you’re ready to order, you might think the Chori-Asada looks like a good choice, but you’re wrong! You’ll get two pieces of beef that look oddly like a square burger patty from Wendy’s, but without the flavor and seasoning that you’ll find in a Baconator. Be sure to ask for salt and pepper because this recipe doesn’t have any marinade or seasoning! Hope you’re not a huge fan of Chorizo either. You’d think it comes with a lot of it since it’s only called a “Chori-Asada” but you’d be wrong! You only get a few little specks of it that probably only cost them about 50 cents. You’ll also get day-old rice, tortillas stale enough that they look like the chips (don’t bother asking for flour tortillas instead because those are stale too). At least the guacamole will be a more appropriate shade of green. Once you’ve had enough and ask for the check, your server will come by with your bill. There will be a Surcharge on there. It’s not a card-use fee, nor a forced gratuity. There is a misspelled and laughable explanation on the bottom of it that fails miserably in its attempt to guilt-trip you by saying that the surcharge is to help them pay for rising operating costs. (Don’t worry, they’ve raised prices on the food too). If you’ve ever wanted to see a server get anxious though, here’s your chance; just kindly ask them what the surcharge is for and if there’s any way to avoid having to pay it. Once you pay, your server will very nervously beg you to please leave the place a 5 star review and to mention them by name and how they provided you with 5 star service. Well, ask and you shall receive. Here’s my honest review! But I’ll leave out the server’s name since I’m confident the owner would fire them...
Read moreWe went on for lunch on August 29th 2025 for my son's 31st birthday (his birthday is on the 30th). We started with the chips, salsa, and table made guacamole. My mom got the choose 2 lunch combo with two cheese enchiladas. My son got the captain's skillet. I got the lunch special carne asada chimi. We also got order of lobster enchiladas because everybody wanted to try them 😂. Everything was so delicious and we all shared a little bit of everything with each other. The steak was so tender and juicy it practically melted in your mouth 😋. I also got a order of guacamole to go because it is probably some of the best guacamole I've ever had in a restaurant🥑.
Sorry I didn't get a picture of the outside or the menu this time.
I do believe that they may have been understaffed when we went because our waiter was all over the place. I know we were still looking at the menu but it did take him almost an hour before taking our order (half of that was probably us making up our mind because everything just looks so delicious). We had to flag him down to get to go boxes (I'm a slow eater and normally eat half my food at the restaurant and half at home because I enjoy talking 🤣). When we asked about desserts after the meal he quickly told us what they had and my son said we would like some flan to go, he rushed off before anybody else could say anything. When he came back with only one piece of flan I told him that I would also like flan and a sopapilla, he left and came back told me they were out of but did bring me my flan. He did seem like a nice guy but like I said it kind of seemed like he was the only waiter in there cuz he was all over the place trying to do everything. I honestly don't blame him for speed walking all over the place and just trying to get his job done but it would have been nice for him to stay at the table long enough for us to finish talking when we were...
