Talega Coffee Roaster — Restaurant in Tucson

I tried it for the first time on Saturday. I was down there for Earth Day kids event. Very easy to find, as they had a sandwich board with their name and an arrow. Great advertisement opportunity, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The coffee was excellent! I got an Americano. Most places make it watery, but they knew what they were doing. I realized after I started waking away I lost my wallet, I went back in to see if they found it, they hadn't. I was about to panic, but from my description the gentleman spotted it across the street! I was so thankful. Wish I got his name to thank him again, as I don't think I adequately showed my appreciation! If I'm ever downtown again I know where to get...

This place has a super cool vibe. It’s off the street a bit from broadway and Scott behind children’s museum but definitely worth the stop. Great indoor scene and nice outside atmosphere before it gets too hot.

Most importantly to me Rene is absolutely amazing customer service wise. Talked about some roasting equipment and what got us started in coffee and was a great 10 minutes nerding out.

I had an iced vanilla latte and aside from the ones I make at home and Presta, it’s the best one in town. My wife got a chai and it was delicious, nice and spicy not too sweet, best in town hands down.
