The older male server wearing glasses on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at 1-2pm was extremely rude. After requesting to seat somewhere else because the aircon was too cold blowing on us, is when his behavior went south from there. He basically raised his voice across bring our water to the table we moved and said a condenscending remark “you moved tables why you didn’t bring your water?!” ok sorry was distracted talking to my friend we were just cold and wanted to move…. We didn’t we even ask for water we ordered and mostly drank our Thai ice tea . After feeling rushed and ordering food and his rude condescended behavior, he longer became our server and some other male served our food. I am afraid that server spit or tainted our soup and food. Please pull up security footage on this place. Unless you deleted now bc what I’ve written. Please work on your customer service and communication. You can see us talking nicely and then he comes in talking rude to us. I’ll be reporting this place…..

A great Thai place near the Seatac airport which I discovered randomly and decided to give it a try. And oh boy it sure did exceed my expectations. We tried the spring rolls, Chicken Phad Thai and Simply fried rice. All three dishes were amazing with the special mention to Phad thai. I might have eaten such balanced yet flavored phad thai at very few other places. One interesting thing here is that they have spice levels which extend upto level 15 unlike 5 at other places, which gives those who want to make their food spicy some great options. We tried the level 7 and it wasn’t that spicy so you could go higher. We also ordered peanut sauce on the side because of the reviews about it. Though it is good, it is not exceptional and you could avoid spending on it. Special shoutout to the servers here. The service is timely and affable. Definitely a must-try for those heading towards airport.

I recently visited Simply Thay right after arriving in Seattle, and I was absolutely delighted with the experience. Hungry and in search of comfort food, I decided to try this Thai restaurant because Thai cuisine is one of my favorites and generally offers good portion sizes. After a quick search on Google Maps where Simply Thay had favorable reviews, I decided to give it a try. The food exceeded my expectations; it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent as well—attentive and responsive. Although there was a small inconvenience as I couldn't charge my phone at my table (my battery was nearly dead after traveling), the staff was accommodating and offered me an alternative spot to charge it. This kind gesture was much appreciated and added to the positive experience. I highly recommend Simply Thay for anyone looking Thai cuisine served with great hospitality.

Just ate there with my daughter. After we were seated took awhile for someone to even come to the table to ask if we’d like drinks. We only asked for water. Sat for at least 10 minutes waiting for our water as we watched several other people come in, get seated and given water immediately. I finally had to wave the waiter down and ask for water. We ordered our food and my daughters food was brought out in a decent time frame. As I sat and waited for my food (which I thought was weird they didn’t bring both plates of food at same time as is customary) I noticed the other groups of people who came in after me were getting their food before me. No one bothered once to come over and check on us or ask if we needed anything. My daughter finished half her food when I finally got a waiter to come over and asked where my food was. He said he would go find out and never came back. I again waved over the waitress who seated us and asked her why my food hadn’t come and she said she would go check. After about 5-6 minutes she came back and said there was a mess up with my order and they hadn’t started making it yet. You think maybe they could have told me that 20 minutes ago?? I told her just to cancel my order at that point and to bring the check. Within 3 minutes the male waiter brought my plate of food. Now that my daughter was done eating I only ate a few bites so we could leave. I fully expected they would have comped me my food that arrived ridiculously late but surprisingly they still charged me the full price. I did not leave a tip and will never go back there. I hate to play the race card but I don’t think it was a coincidence that every Asian person who was seated after me got their water and food quickly. My daughter and I were pretty much invisible to their staff. I only gave one star because the food did taste decent. Horrible service, we will not...

An okay experience.

The atmosphere, decor, and cleanliness of the place was good. There was ample parking in the lot outside, so we didn’t have to spend too much time looking. Cute artwork on the walls. The music was low volume 80’s pop/rock, which I liked.

The service was kind of off, but we came in on the evening off NYE, so I’ll give the staff a pass for that.

The menu was very typical of a Thai restaurant: noodles (Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, etc), salad (Larb), rice (Thai Fried Rice), curries (red, green, panang), and more. The menu wasn’t too big and there weren’t any deserts. For drinks, there was a small menu for wines and Thai coffee, Thai tea, and regular tea. I’d say everything was affordable, most menu items were in the $8-16 range.

We ordered Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, Green Curry, and the crab delight. The food was alright, a little too sweet for my liking (as Thai food can be sometimes). As other reviewers have said, the spice levels were really off! My BF got 5 star spicy for himself for the Pad Thai and it was very bland, I could eat it without a problem. We got 3 star for the fried rice (to share), and 3 star for my curry, but they tasted normal. It was pretty disappointing for us, as we’re used to eating spicy ethnic food at home. This was nothing.

In all, I’d say Simply Thai is like it’s name, simple. Not great, but not terrible, average Thai food. I don’t think I’d go out of my way to eat here, but if I’m nearby and craving Thai, I...
