As a restaurant that offers lots of vegan and alternative options, Iāve heard the buzz about this place for a while. Iāve only visited once (Wednesday March 2nd 2024) but I like the appeal, the setting and progressive approach to dining.
A friend and I dined in on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. It was a good choice for a light breakfast before a spin class. The space itself is very appealing ā high ceilings, white shelving, modern tables, glass surroundings for natural lighting, plenty of seating and more open space. Almost like an upscale dining hall. The guy who took my order was nice and gave suggestions based on my lack of familiarity with the menu. I ordered the Jackfruit Quesadilla (guac & sour cream on the side) along with the Tropical Kale smoothie. Since itās open seating, they give you a number for your order. I sat at the bar along the East-facing window. With many employees and not too many guests, I wasnāt surprised that the order arrived as quickly as it did. I passed the guacamole & sour cream to my friend. I was surprised at how satisfying the quesadilla was. It didnāt have meat but it was fresh, the tortilla was crispy, the cheese had a good gooey texture and it tasted refreshing. However, the smoothie was better than the quesadilla. Somehow it tasted better than the compilation of ingredients described. I wasnāt ecstatic about the price but the give it to you a large jar and they provide a cap/top for the mason jar if you donāt finish (which they have an honor system of returning the jar if you can). My friend also got a smoothie that wasnāt as good which leads me to believe I got the best one.
It wasnāt a relatively long dining experience but Iām glad I finally got to soak up a little of the atmosphere. Though the previous establishment was a fan favorite, I can see how Inheritance appeals to the more conscious food consumer as the landscape is changing. Since this eatery doubles as a coffee shop, itās no wonder that the ambiance is as tranquil and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never been here before but heard good things and when I read what they were offering for the Tulsa 30 day Vegan Challenge I wanted to try it. It's vegan fried chicken(It's made with mushrooms but when I first cut into it I had to do a double check because if I didn't know what I was ordering I would have thought dark meat chicken), mashed potatoes with a little bit of gravy and seasoned corn. It also being a juicery I tried what they called their Golden Driller which is; orange, lemon, grapefruit and ginger. Very refreshing and light not overly citrus. There's a few things that I really liked about this place. One being how dog friendly it was, the place is open and inviting with different areas to choose from sitting wise. The other thing that I applaud and commend them for is that they have what's called a pay It Forward board. You can purchase A smoothie, a side or even a hot meal to pay it forward. Which is also why the group of people that were frequenting this establishment was a cross between all. It didn't feel like we were divided. All was welcomed and I appreciated that cause it doesn't matter if you are currently without a home or have a home, everybody felt treated the same under this roof and I like that because we are all living a human experience on this planet we call Earth. Now they don't always have a note on the board indicating what they have from another person paying it forward but it doesn't hurt to come in and check or even ask because you never know the answer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInheritance Juicery is one of the best places to eat in Tulsa, if not the best. I cannot recommend this place enough. I have a vegan and gluten free diet and I have so many options to choose from their menu.
When it comes to the food, I love that they care about using organic produce and clean ingredients. They offer delicious vegan food with amazing flavors (Not the typical sad salad and/or the so called āveganā options usually offered in other restaurants :X) They actually put an effort to offer high quality dishes. The smoothies and juices are so yummy and as a vegan, I appreciate that they offer so many plant based protein options and that their menu changes based on seasonal ingredients.
They are constantly improving, taking suggestions, and looking for ways to give back to the community. The staff is super friendly, patient, kind, polite, and knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish. They are always so welcoming and flexible about specific dietary requests.
The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and cozyā¦.
Recommended dishes: Tofu scramble, smoked mango nachos, thunder up smoothie, vegan Mac and cheese, all the juices⦠But I would be careful with the jackfruit tacos if you cannot do spicy food like me :D
This restaurant is definitely a gem in...
