Took husband for lunch today for his first visit as he wanted a good Italian deli sandwich and they were out of salami so he went to plan B, all in all it was a below average ham sandwich, little meat, basic bread. I had the Turkey club on gluten free hoagie and it was dry, very little turkey and gluten free bread was terrible. Then we proceeded to spend $100 on some freezer meals and appetizers based on recommendations from the nice cashier. We chose the regular meat lasagna, $18 size, and baked it for dinner as instructed and even a little longer and it was basically a thick soup consistency and had little flavor. I was embarrassed to serve it. I have used Lambruscos several times through the years for personal and business catering, but after today’s experience I will no longer visit your deli. I am very disappointed. I sure hope the other items we purchased, including the breakfast casserole, will...
Read moreToday - Fiesta Wrap with Chicken. Lambrusco'z has the best wraps in Tulsa Perfect day for a sandwich and a cool side. I had the Big Pim and a side of Dill Potato Salad. That Jalapeno Pimento Cheese with ham sounded like my kind of sandwich, and it was. My wife went with a delicious Turkey Club. Both sandwiches were thick and filling. I was hoping the Dill Potato Salad was going to be better. It was good. My wife doesn’t like vinegary food, It was, so she didn’t like it at all.
Because of the freshness of the food, the size of the sandwiches and sides, I thought the prices were very fair in today’s economy.
I grabbed a couple of heat and eat Casseroles; Breakfast Casserole and a Chicken Spinach Enchilada Casserole.
A very good deli with large variety, (sandwiches, sides, desserts, prepared heat and eat meals to go.) Probably, one of the best...
Read moreFor months I've seen ads and heard rave teviews about this place and finally decided today would be the day I tried it. Unfortunately, it just did not live up to the hype. My sandwich a Honey Turkey on classic looked amazing but only half the bread had meat. Guess it was piled in front for presentation purposes. I also ordered the Tiramisu and that's where my real annoyance lies. It was very tough to fork through and super dry. The espresso flavor was minimal at best and I'm pretty sure it was cake not lady fingers used (I don't have packaging in front of me to confirm or deny that). Overall it was an OK experience food wise. My husband said his food tasted fine and the bite I had confirmed it. Staff were nice and efficient, tables and store clean inside. Just don't go in expecting a proper Deli meal and you'll be fine. Also try the root...
