Today, my sister came to visit me from Seminole, OK and I took her to eat. We went to this local Whataburger and ordering and receiving our food went smoothly. We proceeded to eat our food and I told my sister to share my fries with me and I tipped the container and dumped the fries into the tray. Well, lo and behold, there was a paper clip in my fries. We just looked at each other, as we started laughing, because how often do paper clips get cooked??! It even had salt stuck to it!!! Lol! So, my sister takes the fries back to the counter as they give her fresh fries, which is all I wanted. We continued to finish our meal and a manager (I assume!) walks up to our table and refunds my money for the order. I told him I happy with the fresh fries, he didn't have to do that. But, he said he felt it was a necessary action. I asked him if he had been looking for that paper clip? He replied that he had been wondering what happened to it, of course, we were joking! Lol! But, it was a nice experience and this restaurant is always clean and efficient, and now, one of my favorites! Thank you for being a positive moment in my life, with a woman who I found out last year, is my sister. Read moreMaybe I’m just a little extra salty because I really loved the 61st and Sheridan location, and had to find out the hard way tonight that it’s been shut down. Which leads me to the point of my first, and probably only, review I’ve ever left in my entire life about any establishment anywhere. Firstly, we ordered 2 meals (sandwich/fries/drink) and only received fries for one, while being charged for both. 2nd of all, the fries were room temp at best, and about as stale as a French fry could be whilst still being within the parameters of FDA approval. Yuck, dude. And third off, the manager person acted all bothered and irritated, as if me asking them to tack on a small vanilla milkshake to my order was some sort of major burden for them and that they were doing me some extra favor by doing it, their job? The entire reason they’re there to begin with? Very, very odd. And 4th but not least, I don’t know where they put the extra cheese that I was charged for, (that I requested) but it for sure wasn’t on my chorizo taquito which, needless to say, sucked very badly. The first employee is Nicole L, who is unbelievably lazy and hateful. She has messed up my order multiple times because of her laziness in changing the order to the correct type of order, as I clearly request several times, and even slowing down my speech so she can finally get it right, but she never does. Every single time, she messes up my order. Additionally, when I kindly asked her to repeat my order to me PLEASE! she was hateful about it. I was alone in the Drive-Thru. There was no one behind me or in front of me, and I had to wait nearly 15 minutes because she made sure I do not get my food. Eventually she had another girl hand me my food. How disgusting is that?
The second employee is the older lady who seems to be recovering from some sort of narcotic addiction who is extremely jumpy. If someone breathed loudly around her, she looks like she would have a melt down. She creates a very nervous and anxious atmosphere that is...
