Holland's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Tupelo

Can't answer the questions about food, service or atmosphere. I am a single woman on a motorcycle and I just rode 450 miles to have a burger here. I went in, I was greeted and had to ask the bartender if they actually did serve food. Then apparently what they have for a "bouncer" at 3pm in the afternoon, was offended by the knife on my hip. He did politely ask me to return it to my "truck" however, I am on a motorcycle and not a truck. And, I declined to remove my knife, as a single woman in a bar. If your establishment needs A. A bouncer at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a Saturday, and B. Are offended by the knife on my hip. I do not need to give you my money. Also, please let me add, I read the handwritten signs on the door about a new business phone number, no food or beverages from the outside, and no alcoholic beverages outside, but surely did not see a sign that stated I was not allowed to bring my knife in. My wife and I went here tonight, for the first time, to have a night out. We had been there for about an hour and a half when some man in a feed store ball cap tells my wife she couldn't have her purse in the bar. We said fine bring the tab and we won't be back. He got smart with us and told us it was perfectly fine if we had a gun on our hip but no pocketbooks allowed. We spent $70 in that short time, 3 drinks each, and probably would have been double that before we left. We told the tattle tale server she could get her tip from the feed store guy since he turned them both into a$$holes. She would have more than likely made a $50 tip if she wouldn't have run out the door telling feed store guy we were trying to finish our fresh drinks before we left. This place is a poor excuse for country food. The only thing in the dinner buffet that actually tasted good was the baked and fried chicken. Other than that, the spirit is there with all the sides, but everything has no seasoning. The mac and cheese has cream cheese in it which tastes kinda weird and sweet. The meat loaf is a little undercooked. Most of everything just tasted kind of meh and life less. Especially, most of the entree type food was surprisingly fairly tender but just was the most bland food I've ever tasted. Giving one star, I honestly would rate -2, cause at least the staff was nice, and the chicken was good. Some spirit is there, but the food tasted life less. I would never pay $19.99 per person for the food I just tasted today.

Update: vomited at home. Do not eat from this buffet unless you want...
