Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Tyler

Love this place. I've been to this place two or three times two of the three times was satisfactory or better... On my last occasion the food was great and the price is right but the cashier seemed flustered made more than a few mistakes and lacked in the area of attitude.

Customers do business with you or do not do business with you based on the way employees deal with them that is got to be 80% of every situation you can love the business and you can love the prices and selection but I guarantee you either will not go there any longer or your purchases will drive from 20 to 60% at minimum so I believe that this particular location overall is good but I have witnessed an employer too that just is not into their job and they lack or refuse to Grant good customer service

So if things do not improve at this location I will do one or two things I will change locations and do business with this company braum's at another location or I'll find some place else to get my goods.

Some people may ask cut if you get the five star rating in being fair and honest their ice cream is awesome they're burgers are excellent they're french fries are above satisfactory some of their dairy products that they sell are a good product and a good price so based on all of that and three out of five visits being really good I felt like it was fair to give them the five but I also qualify this five based on the poor attitudes of lack of training or the lack of respect for their job and the customers to pay the bills is a big consideration from this point forward I'm saying that to say this if I go back there and I'm treated anywhere near the way I was the last time they're five stars can't quickly drop to three to or even one with a mile long comment and it won't be a nice one at least not one that business likes but it will be faxed on an accurate so I'm giving them beyond benefit of the doubt at this point and I reserve my right to correct or change it now in the future based on future conduct an action as well as their behavior.

So.. My wife and I go through the drive-thru of Braum's. We make our order and drive forward. As we do I hear something.. Now I know what I heard, but to be sure I ask my wife, "What did she just say?" My wife says the order taker said, "How rude!" First, let's get this straight. Even if my wife had the capacity to be rude, your customer service representatives do not get to say it. Further, maybe you could hire people with the intellectual capacity to turn off the microphone. So, I tell my wife, "You may as well pull to the front of the building." I walk in and ask for the manager, John. John pretends he doesn't know who it could be. I assure you it was the caucasian girl who smirked and gave her side of the "story" as I stood waiting my turn. (Let's make this absolutely clear. I was in store # 259, Braum's on Troup Highway in Tyler TX and there was only one caucasian female working at the time, behind the kitchen area 6:47p.m.) Mind you, I'm educated enough to realize the reason everyone with a headset on is attempting to hide a smile is because they KNOW why I'm there because they heard it too.) One even mouthed "sorry." John eventually has time for me. He explains that he is sorry and even though I never pointed her out before she ran to him with an explanation, he is incapable of ever knowing who spoke about my wife in such a fashion. John informed me that there was absolutely nothing he could do. A shining example of management and customer service. Thank God there is a Chick-fil-a across the street! (If there is absolutely any power in word of mouth, I will certainly be exercising mine.) 2 stars because the food was more pleasurable than the people I interfaced with. This is not...

My main concern was the Cleanliness. The difference of the counters we order all the way down we’re dirty like ice cream, dripping off of them or somebody dripped ice cream. The floors were dirty In the area where you get, your ketchup it was filthy. ketchup with caked on one the other was empty. The tables also were dirty. My friend had to clean where we said there were four of us. We got to the counter to order and no one was coming to help us for a few minutes. Several People were milling around back Behind the counters. Most likely some were helping to go orders. Burgers were Soso my friend got the five in a bag and they were just smashed together. I don’t know. I just don’t normally ever do this, but I just feel compelled because it wasn’t just me. It was people that were with me also. I definitely have no desire to return to eat.. I do come to buy eggs and milk and butter Occasionally. There was one bright like in the whole thing named Victoria. She came to take me my order ( I walk with a cane). Saw that I was having difficulty getting the catch up. She came and took my tray. Got my ketchup. And my drink for me and took it to the table. Very helpful when I was purchasing from the marketplace and saw that my things got taken to someone to help me...
