What a slap in the face for an employee to accuse us of trying to get something for free when we have paid for it! We renewed our Tea Passes on 2/22 and it’s been mostly problems, additional costs and insults from employees. After purchasing 3 Tea passes, almost every day we get told we either don’t have any Tea Passes or we only have one. I show the receipt where we bought 3 Tea Passes and the confirmation email with date of purchase that it’s active, and get told call Customer Service. An Assistant Manager also told me the receipt I’ve got from my McAlisters order history, that’s not a receipt?? Funny, because at the top it is clearly written ORDER RECEIPT!! I went and talked to the GM, Corey, on 2/28 at the restaurant because the problems continued. He was professional and assured me it would be handled and took my information. Made it two days with no issues, then yesterday 3/2, my wife stopped by and the employee said no Tea Passes are showing up. My wife told the employee she has the receipt, the GM said he was resolving and my wife was told the GM isn’t here and we are not going to keep giving you free teas, you’ve got to buy them. This is the last time we are giving them to you!! Giving?? Something we bought? Your doing us a favor after we bought Tea Passes and on 2/26 & 2/27 my wife had to pay for three teas each day because no record on file, after she showed receipt? So we have spent $26.73 for the Tea Passes, then another $18 and change on 2/26-2/27 because the Tea Passes ā€œaren’t showing upā€. I would be more understanding about this, even looking past the GM not resolving yet- solely based on his professionalism. But the accusations- not only when I know we bought, but when I have a receipt in hand- that’s simply unacceptable. We have bought Tea Passes on a monthly basis, photo below to prove, and this is the only time we have had this much trouble.

Amazing food! Fresh, a large variety of healthy foods for kids and adults. This location is wheelchair accessible although you may need help with the restroom 🚻 doors as it is pretty heavy. As for the management ... 5 āļø's by all means. We eat here at least one or two times a week. Mrs Kayce, she always makes a point to stop at our table and check to make sure everything is made right and we don't need anything. She has such a kind heart, and you can tell she loves her job. Anytime something is needed or there is a problem, she immediately takes care of it. The other managers stop by our table and check on us, and they always say, "Hey!" Sometimes it seems like it's "forced, " but Kayce truly appreciates those who are "regulars" at McAlister's. There is also a young lady named Alejandra who has memorized what we order and drink. She's such a sweet young lady. It is the employees and the divine food that keep us coming every week. If you haven't dropped by, you are missing out on a great meal and good conversation.

Horrible to-go service!! My order number is 10156. Time 07:49 PM, 08/02/2021. I order two McAlister Clubs, cheese cake and two teas. I don’t know who is in charge of checking the food before it goes to the customer, but they failed to do their job. The White/Female, with Black hair, pale skin who was placing the to go order on the counter was the last one to touch my order. She looked annoyed and that ā€œpsshā€attitude. Once I got my order to my hotel…. I was disappointed. I literally had a whole sandwich which was folded to look like it was in fours… I had broken sandwich style toothpicks in the sandwich. It look like someone took a bite into it. The second was fine but it was still poorly put together. The bread wasn’t even toasted. Only thing that was right was the Broccoli and cheese cake. When I come into town/ Athens for business, I always go to MCallisterā€˜s.. but after this incident.. I’m not doing my business with them. They need better supervision. very disappointed.

We always love this location. I meet my mom here once a month for lunch and she changes her ingredients on her salad a lot from the menu and they always get it correct for her. They are always super helpful, super quick about collecting your trash from your table and getting your drink refills. The only complaint I have is not for the location, but on our last visit there was a mom with 3 girls 7 & under (or so it appeared those ages) and the mom let 2 of them scream through our entire meal. I get that we were in the outer part of the restaurant, but it is still indoors and that's why we choose to sit there so we can actually visit. It wasn't just us that were annoyed as 3 other tables around us got up to leave and made comments about how rude it was for the screaming to continue. It wasn't like they were ill, or in trouble. One got her feelings hurt about something a cried for over 20 minutes straight, then 2 of them were chasing each other around the table screaming laughing so loud that even the servers rolled their eyes every time they came in the area. It appeared that the mom was interviewing someone, maybe a nanny to help her care for the kiddos, but she was having to talk so loudly over her girls that we could hear it was an interview. It's just rude to allow your children to use their outside voices while playing inside when people are TRYING to simply enjoy their meal. Next time just consider going to the park on a 70 degree...

My company ordered a decent size lunch order for 11 or so people. We used DoorDash. To say the food was poor quality was an understatement. Sandwiches' were thrown together in such a way that they fell apart upon opening the box. The spud max ( the one that is supposed to be loaded with cheese, ham, bacon, chives, olives) had quite literally 2 bits of ham, 2 bits of back, 5 pieces of olive and a tiny portion of cheese that felt like an afterthought, nothing like the loaded up potatoes they used to offer. We also had missing items( missing Rotel that was on the ticket) and to top everything off, a hair in one of the salads. I called the store to address this but was told that no refund could be issued because we used doordash, no comment was made about the hair, or missing items, or general lack of quality we used to expect. The manager said " you can just come up here sometime and I will give you a free meal, and I will speak to my back of house about the food, so sorry." We have just decided that we wont be ordering our large lunches from here anymore, this has become a pattern of missing items and lack of quality for some time now, we will spend our company's...
