Ok, look. I'm not looking to hurt anyone, but this was, seriously, in the top 3 WORST food, not just Chinese food, but worst food I've ever eaten. I'm from NYC and have lived and worked in most major cities in this country, and traveled pretty extensively to Europe. The Asian lady behind the counter literally laughed when I asked if they cook Szechuan, Hunan or what. The American gentleman who worked the counter, who said he's been there for seven years and needs to move on, was robotically polite, but offered nothing in the way of information or marketing if not asked a question. The Asian woman could not have been less informed or helpful. I can safely assume she is the owner or related to ownership. I ordered fried "meat" dumplings and a "Szechuan style" beef with broccoli. I opted for "lo mein noodles", instead of rice. I was dining in, but the food was packed in a bag, in Styrofoam packaging. The gentleman said its because of Covid 19. I guess they dont know that covid is past. VERY long story short, the dumplings were well done fried frozen wontons, the noodles were overcooked fettuccine noodles and were drowning in grease and oil, no sauce, just greasy oil, and the "beef" was stringy and tough, and with the broccoli, was in a POOL of greasy brown sauce. This is NO exaggeration. In fact, I'm not describing, adequately, how awful this was. It was a compete waste of money. 2 hours in the bag old Wataburger would have been better. OBVIOUSLY, I did not finish after my first few bites. Returning it or complaining would have been a waste of time. Oh, as I was eating, the Asian woman and American worker were talking about antibiotics needed for some infected person. Just what you want to hear while eating this horrid, horrid food. They brag that their portions are huge. And they are. So I see their popularity with the "big eaters crowd", to be nice, but it's just a big, giant portion of greasy horrible food. Again, I am NOT exaggerating. And the tables and floor were FILTHY. Imagine the kitchen... Believe me. Pass on this place.

We ordered take out tonight. I had the vegetarian dish. The veggies were swimming in some sort of gravy and very greasy. The veggies were also very cold and frozen. The Noodles were also swimming in grease and did not taste very good. My husband ordered beef and broccoli. He said it was not very good at all. He said panda express was actually better at this point. My son ordered crab rangoons and they did not have any crab, it was just cream cheese. I ordered extra noodles for him but didn't get them , not that we would have been able to eat them anyway. My husband tried to finish my meal as he doesn't like to waste food but I literally am sitting here with an upset stomach from whatever it was that we ate. I stopped after a few bites. We will not be back. I do not recommend this place unless you like your food extra soggy and swimming in this white weird sauce. Wish I could get a refund, as this was the worst excuse of food I have ever eaten.

Oh dear. Usually, their food is great, but something went horribly wrong with takeout tonight. House chicken and fried rice was decent. Lemon chicken was essentially inedible. I couldn’t even stab a fork in it. It did not appear overcooked. I think it may have baked and dried out under a heat lamp for a couple days. Honestly., it was like concrete, not even the texture of jerky, I was starved, so I nibbled on the extremely crunchy batter. In the picture, the middle golden part is the fossilized chicken that made a clanking sound when I banged it on the counter. Moral of the story: request they give you recently cooked chicken. I can eat just about anything as I am not too picky, but this was crazy. Even the cat couldn’t make headway on it, and being as hard as a chicken bone, I was afraid to feed it to the dogs.

So disappointing, my family and I used to really enjoy their food but last night was a different story. The chicken was rock hard like it’s been sitting there all day. BUT the biggest issue was the customer service. I ordered online which is simple enough but they don’t have an option to select extra sauces like most restaurants have. Not even an option for an up charge to get extra sauces. So naturally I asked for them in the sub section of what was ordered. My husband went to pick it up KNOWING we may have to pay a little extra for sauces since THEY didn’t have the option online. My husband told me when he said the name on the order a man came storming out of the kitchen raising the receipt and shaking it with anger as he’s yelling at my husband that sauces are extra. Again, shouldn’t have been a big deal. He could have politely stated that the sauce would be extra, which we were prepared to pay for. But being ugly about something so small and something that’s very fixable is disappointing and ridiculous. Such poor customer service that we will spend our money elsewhere for now on. So Mings, maybe you should update your website and ADD extra sauces for an up charge to either the entrees area OR add it to the “Sides” area. Could even add the option to pay online OR at pickup so if needing to charge a little more then can be done in one transaction. I hope ya’ll can make a change starting with customer service and not having the ugly attitude for your...

This is a regular spot, It has been for me since they first opened. Mings Cafe is always awesome. You may have to wait Only because it is all prepared fresh. If you walk inside staff is a little lacking on introduction One of the reasons I'm giving it four stars. They are true to quality and taste absolutely producing something that is both delicious and enjoyable. We got two egg rolls two plates of combination lo mein and an order of peppered shrimp with lo mein. Ming's has stayed true to the taste over these many years and have added several fun menu items that are also delicious and savory like bourbon chicken and peppered shrimp. This is not the first time I've gotten the pepper shrimp but it is always awesome in consistency light crunchy and wonderfully flavored. They're lo mein is delicious whether you get the combination or just regular, If you happen to get the combination you get steak chicken and shrimp with wonderful vegetables and if you get the regular it's just as good. The only thing I would recommend to the current owner is if your steam table says it's open till 8:30 it needs to be open till 8:30 and fully stocked We walked in, at 8:00 and we're told what you see is what you get. This is not an okay standard One of the things the original owner honored was even if you came in at 8:25 she was going to make it fresh if it says it was open till 8:30 it was...
