Nice family run business.
As soon as you are seated they will bring to your table fresh made chips and green salsa (the salsa is too watery) My family and I ordered 3 different items from their menu:
A cemita of milanesa (typical sandwich from the State of Puebla with breaded meat), which was good. An order of tacos (4), which were kind of hit or miss, the only meat i really liked was the Al Pastor (pork seasoned and pineapple), because the rest: Chorizo (hot sausage), Suadero (brisket) and Carnitas (pulled pork) were kind of bland. And a chicken quesadilla (which was huge) and was not too overloaded with cheese. The only weird thing I noticed was that they put the pico de gallo inside the quesadilla instead of on the side.
Their aguas frescas were too sweet for my taste.
FYI: The place is quite small

Read moreI ordered the shrimp rice bowl with beef and chicken. I asked the lady placing the order for extra green sauce. I was super excited and hungry when the order arrived. I was busy at my desk and asked my coworker to get the food. When I got my food it was cold! The rice was hard and I didn't get the extra green sauce as requested. I was supposed to get $6 back in change less $2 for tip for delivery. There obviously was miscommunication and he took the remaining $4. I've called them through my entire break in regard to this and finally spoke to the manager. The manager then said that it was my fault because I should've counted my change. If I pay using a $20 and my meal is $14 and I say take $2 how do I end up with $2 as change ?!! Despite it ALL my food was horrible! I order from here ALL the time roughly once a week. & every time I received my rice bowls I never had any problems until now! Absolutely disgusted with my experience. Last...

The shrimp rice bowl is a mouthwatering delight, bursting with perfectly seasoned shrimp, fluffy rice, and a medley of vibrant toppings. The tacos? Pure magic—each bite wraps you in a warm tortilla hug of savory goodness.
Now, let’s talk about the ordering experience. If your Spanish is as rusty as an old garden rake, fear not—English will almost get the job done. But here's the beautiful twist: the slight language barrier adds an endearing authenticity to the whole experience. It’s like stepping into another world for a brief moment, where the universal language of delicious food triumphs.
In a nutshell, Cemitas Puebla Y Taqueria is a must-visit for adventurous foodies who appreciate incredible cuisine and a touch of cultural immersion....
