I arrived at the location at about 6:50am and pulled to the drive thru. No cars were in the drive thru so I pulled straight to the speaker. I sat there for about 3-4 minutes looking at the menu and no one ever came to the speaker. I then pulled to the window and sat there for about 5 minutes, watching the employees glance over at me and laugh. They completely ignored the fact that I was there. I saw someone standing in their lobby so I thought maybe they’re not taking drive thru orders. I parked my car and went to the doors. I pulled on each door and all were locked. At this point I’m talking through the glass door to one of the employees. I asked were they closed and she said yes. I pulled up their hours online that says they open at 5:30am, so I was a little confused. I spent almost 10 minutes trying to place an order, and at no point did anyone tell me they were closed. I’m not sure if they were just refusing my service, or if they were short staffed. But considering someone was standing in the lobby, I felt like they didn’t want to take my order. This whole experience has made me completely uncomfortable and I almost feel discriminated against. If someone would have just told me the moment they saw me at their window that they were closed, I would’ve felt okay. Instead they laughed in my face and proceeded to stand there as if I wasn’t a customer trying to be serviced. I live in the area and it’s very unfortunate that I had to experience this. Although I’m just one customer and I’m sure they get plenty of service, I definitely...
Read moreI had attempted to visit this particular Starbucks numerous times, but there was a line always, always, always going all the way down the street that I had to not visit the store for almost a month. FINALLY, I gave in when the line was manageable and I placed my order. It was for a BIRTHDAY PRESENT for someone very SPECIAL to me on his 11th BIRTHDAY, PLUS A MONTH. The ladies were SO KIND AND CHIPPER. How can someone in retail be nice and smiling and sweet when the line is crazy ALL FREAKING DAY LONG IS BEYOND ME! I'm sure they get yelled at if the order isn't just perfect. I watch FRAISER enough to see and hear what happens if the coffee isn't JUST RIGHT. I don't drink coffee enough to wait in a Starbucks line to know what the differences are in coffees. I'm a Marty Crane when it comes to coffees. But, the one time I did wait in the drive though and order and get my special order at this crazy busy Starbucks, the ladies were completely AWESOME. I will go again, maybe wait at 5:20 AM waiting across the street or 5:25 AM and get a black bringing my own additions just to make things easy and not block the line. But, the employees know their stuff and they do their jobs very well. The line moves FAST. Faster than I can pay and give a nice tip which they so deserve. For me I WOULDN'T LAST A SECOND WORKING THERE. It's a nice place with super nice employees, but the line is always long, moves relatively...
Read moreI never write reviews but I am today. This location is ALWAYS busy with extremely long wait lines. I’ll usually place my mobile order, drive the 10 minutes to the store and then have to wait another 30 mins in line. I’ve done this multiple times and never said anything to the employees about how long people or I have been waiting. So today instead of placing my order first, I wanted to get to the store to see how awful the line was. SHOCKER. It was empty with the exception of 1-2 cars in front of me. Perfect. I placed my mobile order which already had my items in the cart. All I had to do was hit checkout and pay. So I did. Then when I got to the drive thru speaker, I got scolded by the employee in the drive thru for not waiting at least 7 minutes to come in after placing my order. Since when is that a thing? God forbid I didn’t want my coffee watery today because it would sit on the counter for 30 minutes along with my breakfast sandwich, which usually ends up being rock hard. What difference does it make between ordering in the app and you just now having to make the drinks, vs when I order at the drive thru and you STILL don’t make the drinks until I order! There’s literally no difference. This line was way too empty today for that employee to say that. Unnecessary when I’m always so understanding and...
