It was my first time at this toy store. We walked by after our lunch, and of course my little one wanted to come inside. This place is amazing. They have a good variety of brands from Melissa&Doug, Brio, Lego, Schleich, and even my favorite toy car PlayForever!!! You definitely will be able to find cool things for almost anyone. Not only my little one had a fun time picking up his animal toys, but also I found myself had a great time looking at beautiful Playforever cars on the shelf. Price is fair imo. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They have gift wrapping service which is really convenient when you’re in a time crunch. I wasn’t sure whether if it’s a complimentary service. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MERCHANTS! This is a fantastic, "smart," family-owned toy store. I needed to purchase a gift on a Sunday; web said they were open, but I called to confirm before driving there. Sure enough, the phone was answered with a live human. I told her I just wanted to make sure they were open today (Sunday) and she said, "Yes, we are. 10-2 today. But I can stay later if that's more convenient for you." When is the last time you ever heard that from a big box store? I'll never buy toys from anywhere but this store. We absolutely love Happy Up. This is where we go for all children's gifts. They make it SO easy! The friendly staff are eager to help - Just tell them age, gender, and if known, child's interests and they will take you around the shop making their (excellent) recommendations. I can allot myself 15 minutes to stop by there on the way to a child's birthday party and know I will have a unique, wrapped gift by the time I get to the party.
