I ordered through doordash and when my order was delivered to me it was missing an item. I called the habit and when they answered, I told them why I was calling and the woman asked to put me on hold while she looked up the order. I agreed and was placed on hold for 25 minutes. She never came back on the call. I finally hung up and called back and asked to speak to a manager. She told me that there was no manager and she is only to take orders. She was very rude on the phone and I proceeded to tell her fine I would be coming to the restaurant. When I arrived at the store it was brought to my attention that this store doesnât takes calls and that they have a call center. The manager I spoke to stated to me that he would make my order and I said no because by this time already I had been on the phone for 25 minutes and had ate dinner already. The manager also stated that it was on doordash and I told him that he was speaking to a doordash employee and we arenât even to touch the food inside the bags during the pandemic and I told him that the one responsible for this issue was The Habit because they never placed the item in the bag and doubled checked the order. My issue at hand is not that my food was missing but the lack of costumer service given was unacceptable. I am highly disappointed in the service I received!
All of this upsets more than ever because this order was placed for my grandparents and trying to teach them how to order food online since we are to be sheltering in place during this pandemic and The Habit ruined this by not owning up to their mistake and the poor customer service.    Read moreMy outting buddy was back again because she wasn't completely satisfied w/the gift she bought for her cousin 2 days earlier. I enjoy spending time w/her so I had fun. Anyway, we had just finished shopping so went to eat @ The Habit. We ordered separately. We were given pagers/buzzers that would light up & vibrate when your orders were ready so we could get them. I got a Teriyaki Char which is a teriyaki burger w/a grilled pineapple slice, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, teriyaki sauce & mayonnaise. They usually ask if u want everything on it & whether or not u want cheese. Me, I asked for no pickle because don't like pickle on my hamburgers, except chili cheeseburgers. I know, I'm weird so moving on. I also asked for an extra meat patty & slice of cheese because I felt like a double cheeseburger. I ordered sweet potato fries & a large drink. All in all it was $16 & change for my meal. There are refills for the drinks. We were dining in so chose a table. If they had cleaned the table earlier, then they didn't do a great job. I found onion ring crumbs still on the table. I just swept them off w/my hand. The food was delicious as always. They don't just serve hamburgers. From memory, they also have chicken sandwiches, veggie burger, tri-tip sandwich, a few salads to chose from & the sides that I can remember are french fries, sweet potato fries, fried green/string beans & onion rings.    Read moreI have gone here for atleast like 5-7 times and usually I tell them at the time of order to get fresh hot french fries..... I usually order the double burger char combo meal around $17.... and about 90% of time... I get lukewarm or cold fries.... so I have to return it and ask them to get me hot french fries that I request at time of order..... then they give me the hot french fires off the fryer..... the burger is nice and hot and is ok to eat....
But judging from what I saw is that they mass cook and burgers and french fries and lay it on tray on top of counter to give out customers.... and there's usually just one guy is taking orders and giving out the food....He's nice guy but way overworked and no help is provided.....Bad management at this location..
They need one person to take orders and another one to serve the food when ready hot.....Not let food sit on counter without being served until the cashier is not busy to serve the food...
They need to make hot French fries off the fryer and serve it.....not let it cool and serve....for $17 combo meal....for burgers... I could easily go to local Chinese restaurant and get hot fresh food....
50% of food quality is serving food fresh and HOT.....not when COLD...... This store needs a management overhaul and trained how to be efficient serving HOT food....not...
