The last 2 times I have come to this location they have messed up my order. It's been well over 6 months since I have visited this location. I heave recently switched jobs and this location is on my way to work. This morning I left early because I wanted to get coffee. I'm not an everyday drinker, I drink it when I'm exauhsted and NEED it. So I get there and I ordered my drink. A white chocolate mocha with raspberry flavoring, and ask for almond milk in a freeze. I get to the window and they want to charge me more then I usually spend. The prices had gone up. Which whatever that's fine. But I have never paid extra for almond milk. So I pay for my drink. As I pay she repeats my drink back to me. I don't even know what she said but it was not what I asked for. I said no and repeated my order. She goes oh yea that's what I ment. Then hands me the drink. I said that's not my drink. The person who made my drink then came over and repeated what the other girl said. I said no that's not what I ordered. Then they try to tell me that's what it looks like because I added raspberry. It looked like a smoothy, i said its never looked like that. Its a white drink. They had me taste it, it wasn't at all what I asked for it was gross. They offered to add dark chocolate to it. I said no. I asked for my money back. I was really upset because I really needed coffee today. I left my house early just for coffee and by the time I left dutch bros on 4th plain I didn't have time to go somewhere else. The last time I came in here and they made my drink it tasted awful. They said they made it the way they always do.... It was nasty. I went to another location and they made it perfectly. That was my birthday and it was free so I didn't make a huge deal. But seriously they can't make drinks like any...
Read moreKindness is a motivating factor in my life. Kindness to lost puppies with sorrowful eyes, kindness to hard working staff in underpaid jobs wearing bright colored uniforms⦠and most importantly kindness to confused old men caught in a torrent of modernity and constant change.
Hell, Iām still just getting used to the concept of drive-through coffee stands and I already have a regular, old man drive through place that knows my name and my preferences and I feel strange and unfaithful going anywhere else and I donāt know what to order or how to order it. And these fancy bright places full of kids and music and fancy signs scare me a little.
And thatās where the kindness comes in. And the patience. Oh, and I should mention the humor. So Dutch Brothers made stepping out of my comfort zone a pleasure. The staff were fun and engaging. They treated me like family, like they were glad to see me. If itās an act, Itās a good one. Itās got to be an exhausting job, being, āOnā all the time. Tip them well, they deserve it.
The Coffee drink was great, they helped me get what I wanted without making me feeling like an idiot for not knowing their menu. They felt like a team. Now, Iām not going to give up on my āOld manā place. I am loyal to a fault. But when I miss my timing and and that good āold manā window is closed itās nice to know there are a nice bunch of kids waiting to welcome me with open arms.
When the main front line is really long⦠check the back line, itās usually shorter.
And I will also mention that their pupachinos are excellent and my dog got so excited he could hardly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe usually have a wonderful experience at all the Dutch Bros we go to, this one included. However, today was awful. We got in line behind one car and proceeded to wait almost 10 MINS with two kids under 3 in the back. Then we watched as ONE drink came out the window. Don't get me wrong, I have worked drive thru. So I know that last min orders or changes happen. But how does one drink take that long!? Now, at this point, I am expecting to get to the window and have an apology for the wait. Nope. Read off the order and then proceeded to hand us 3 of our drinks and then an iced coffee. Which was suppose to be a Strawberry Lime rebel..... My fiance looks at her funny and let her know that wasn't a Rebel. She gives a 'sorry' as she takes it and hands him a large that is 3/4ths full with no explaination (he asked for no ice). He honestly thought she was trying to hand him something she had been drinking off of. To be honest though, after that wait and experience, they should have filled it all the way up as a courtesy. I'm so disappointed with this...
