Morelia Mexican Taqueria — Restaurant in Vancouver

My parents went in here this is there regular restaurant to go to, there’s always been issues with them but regardless there food is good. Today they went with my kids to eat and the owner thought it was okay to kick my kids and my parents out because my children had food from McDonald and keep in my mind that they always have it with them. One of the employees told them to stay afterwards since they have always been loyal customers but the embarrassment they were put through is not okay. Specially not with alll the illegal stuff they do there. The owner doesn’t pay over time to their employees she works them off and pays them cash anything after 40 hours and they always have guys interchange drugs there , it’s a family restaurant it’s not okay for them to do that and put in risk so many other people that go eat there. Do not eat here worst customer service ever. Food is good but many places you can go where you get the service...

HORRIBLE service!!!! I was the only one in there when I went in, ordered. Two other tables were seated after me and served first! I waited 35 minutes before I finally gave up and went back to the counter. They had "misplaced" my ticket. Ridiculous!!!

I turn back to my table and someone in a band had taken over my table and then started playing VERY loud music a minute after I got my food. Seriously???

I wish the food had been worth the wait. Nope. Not very good, but I was starving and hadn't eaten all day. Thank god they brought me chips and salsa, otherwise I'd have eaten the table.

Not great. Overall seemed like a reasonable place but maybe we just came at a bad time. The waitress was in the middle of mopping and rearranging the dining room in the middle of dinner time.

I ordered two single tacos. One chicken and one asada. Both simple and tasty but very dry. I saw reviews about the great homemade tortillas. I felt they were fine, nothing special to be honest. My husband ordered the skirt steak combination plate. Also dry and over cooked but flavor was decent.

Not sure we will give it another chance. But perhaps a different day would result in a...
