Ok, so I really wanted to live this place! I really didn't feel comfortable with the quiet woman who was supposed to tell us about the wines. She didn't. The 1oz amount was not enough to really try it out. The wine had a strong alcohol taste and then a nice after taste flavor. Most wines at Trader Joe's are better for half the price. I didn't like the charcuterie. It was so unimpressive to a home chef. Maybe you buy everything from Costco? That isn't what people want when they go to a winery!! I don't think think this place is worth it without the Groupon. I really don't think this winery is going to last. There was no experience or quality service to encourage me to be a member. I hosted a retirement party at Valo and it was perfect! Michael was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to help me curate an experience that made the night special for my retiree. He prepared delicious appetizers that everyone enjoyed and offered a full selection of their wines. His team was also fantastic, both Betsey and Kristiana were really fun and engaging with my guests.
