Vandalia, Ohio 11-9-24 Placed online order to pick up at 7:50 pm. At arrival, we also needed to order from Long John Silvers. I was greeted with, " It is going to be a long wait." Not " Can I help you." We gave our order for fish at 7:44 pm. Asked for hush puppies and were told, "we are out of hush puppies." Not, we have to make more, but out. Understanding that happens, we got something else. At 8:00, we heard in the back, " hush puppies are out." We were flat out lied to. Received that order at 7:50, the time our call in was to be ready. But, our order was not ready until 8:25. They were not "slammed," as there was only a couple drive thru customers (none placing an order when we pulled up). A drive thru customer walked in while we waited. Said he had waited 40 minutes, wanted a refund, and was told, " we don't give refunds." I find that really hard to believe. The counter person was extremely rude (i should emphasize rude). Two potential customers walked out, as they were never asked for their order. One worker in the back was very nice to us as she saw our pain. ( wish I got her name). I am guessing in the 45 minutes we were in there, KFC/LJS lost at least 7 future customers. Including us. Read moreHorrible will not return to this location. People making food not wearing gloves wiping nose and face then going back to making food(which i hadn't noticed prior to placing my order) . I waited at least 20min to even be acknowledged and standing at the front counter at register in view of all the employees. Management is no where around. I finally get my order taken. So after another 15-20 mins of waiting a employees informs me it's going to be another 10-15 because no one put any in the fryer. At this point I'm done waiting. I'm mad but I'm calm I just want a refund for my order two snack wraps(5 dollars). Then I'm told we don't do refunds. Ok what? Hey let speak with Management please. She comes up. I tell her the problem. She says the same thing we don't d refunds but offers other foods. At this point I bring up to her the "manager" that you have no employees wearing gloves but yet are making food. No thanks I would just like my money I paid for food I am not getting. Now I need to talk to someone who has common sense in which I am given no help. So I leave without food I came for and my refund. So yeah horrible customer service. Looking forward to coming to resolution which could've been solved easier. Will not be returning and will recommend friends and family to eat elsewhere. Can't really comment on the food since I left. Read moreI have gone to this location more times than I care to count, and every time, they get my order wrong,or they don't have the pieces of chicken available that I want. This happens at peak times like lunch or dinner rush, and it's super disappointing. Who doesn't have chicken legs at a chicken restaurant at rush times? Also, if I order a meal that comes with a drink,but do not want the drink,how am I still paying for said drink? I went inside to order,and while waiting for a refund on the order I placed because they didn't have what I wanted(should have checked before charging me out) a customer from the drive thru came inside missing items from their order. Typical of this location. The guy ringing up my order said he couldn't explain to me why I was still being charged for a drink I didn't want,while laughing, stating he was "just a crew member." Everyone else who I have encountered at this location seemed like they couldn't care less about customer service, rather get you out of the way and collect a paycheck from being on a clock somewhere, anywhere.
