Horrible service and mediocre pizza! We hadn't been to a Pizza Hut in a long while, so we decided to try it again. Will be our last time going! From the minute we got there, there were issues. Stood waiting to be seated, then the girl told us to seat ourselves. She came to wait on us but was not very friendly, and was in a big hurry-even though they were not busy. They don't have salads anymore, and I like salad with pizza. I ordered iced-tea, my family ordered soda. She plunked drinks down and left. Was several minutes before she came back to take our order. They brought our pizzas(2), which looked good but lacked in flavor. We sat there with empty cups while the servers joked around with one another, and our server cleaned the dining area. She walked right past us 3 times with our empty cups sitting on the edge of the table. I finally asked loudly if we could please get refills. She came by, dropped and left. Later we had to hunt down someone to get refills again(she did not come by our table to check on us at all!). I was told they dumped the tea. I asked what time they closed, they said 11pm, it was 8:30pm! They said, "Sorry, we already dumped it, can we get you something else?" "No, I don't drink soda. Why did you dump it with 2-1/2hours left of business?" So, I asked for a large pizza box for our leftovers, put them together and we had 1 large pizza left. She brought a medium box. She left and brought back a large box. I asked to speak with the manager. Manager came over and I filled her in on everything. She said we shouldn't have even had the box we got, those were for carry out pizza, they had little flimsy heavy paper board boxes for leftovers! I said we had a large whole pizza, and she said,"well we could have given you a few of the other boxes, those are only for carryout." Now they are skimping on boxes?! She said she didn't know why they dumped the tea, but she would talk to them about it! She offered to give us a discount when we come back, I explained there would be NO COMING BACK FOR US. She said, "Oh, please give us a second chance. I'll personally make your pizza, and it will be pretty!" I don't give a damn how it looks (within reason), I want flavor, and good service! No....no Thank You! They left such a lasting impression, we won't be giving them our business or our money a second time around.....she didn't even wait till we left before pulling the server back to talk to her with us still there. Sooo not impressed, and all for a product that...
Read moreI placed an online order July 9, 2022 at 8:05pm. I paid online and included a tip which was more than 20%. Your male employee who made the delivery was not very professional nor was he courteous. Maybe he was having a bad day but it seemed like something annoyed him. Obviously something was wrong because of his body language and demeanor.
I don't think he said "hello" or "good evening" and did not even thank me for doing business or thank me for the tip that I paid to him or tell me "have a good day", etc. It was awkward at best. I did not catch a name. The employee of whom I refer to drives a red two door Volkswagen beetle, Caucasian with brown hair.
3 out of 5 stars because at least the order was correct, was not made sloppy (like it has been the last several times), was hot and was on time and it tasted good too. All of which I very much appreciate.
In the past, Pizza Hut has not been very good for several reasons. I wanted to give Pizza Hut another chance and today could have been better considering the poor performance that your employee displayed. Thank you...
Read moreI recently visited the Pizza Hut in Vandalia, Ohio, and unfortunately, the food was awful. The pizza was bland and overcooked, and the wings were barely edible. To make it worse, I overheard a manager harshly belittling an employee in the kitchen—completely unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. The only saving grace of the entire experience was my server, Kearstine. She was phenomenal. From the moment I sat down, she greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and treated me with kindness and respect that stood in sharp contrast to the atmosphere around her. She was attentive without hovering, anticipated what we needed before we had to ask, and handled everything with grace and professionalism. Even though the restaurant was clearly understaffed and chaotic, Kearstine stayed calm, positive, and focused on making sure we were taken care of. If Pizza Hut had more employees like her—and fewer managers like the one I overheard—they’d be in a much better place. Kearstine deserves recognition. She turned a bad meal into a memorable visit through her...
