We chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration of my sister in law! I knew it would be good from all the pictures and reviews! Also after calling them to confirm operation hours! You know, pandemic status! The hostess by the name of Morning Star was amazing over the phone !!! Made efforts to meet my reservation needs (thank you ) after hanging up, i was already looking forward to being there!!! On the day of visit, as soon as we got there SERVICE PLUS! she greeted us by name and told Guillermo we have arrived! So, welcoming!!! Never been there, yet felt so familiar ! Hostess Took us to the patio area and we were all embracing the beautiful set up display!!!! Had a server that just started working there, but you would not know it! She was great !!! she really made our experience even better! Guillermo turned the music in the patio area!!! We were not rushed !!! Menu was explained to us all by our server (Soraya)! Ugh I think I misspelled her name! We all ordered something different and we were all in complete awe of the culinary display!!!! Presentation just makes good food ever better!!! The taste of the food was amazing !!! It was the perfect meal and the perfect experience!!! Which you need when you chose a place to have a special celebration meal! The experience of something so intimate!!!! So personal!!! By the end ! I saw Guillermo as we we were done and heading out !!! He asked how Did I find his place !!! He was probably curious ‘cause he knew we were visiting from Balersfield and Santa Clarita!! I told him I found you on Google and chose it based on reviews from consumers like me! All in all I truly recommend this place ! We will definitely return ! This is “A” must go to place!! And they are vegetarian friendly! (I was so grateful) Don’t worry if you are a calories counter! Carb watcher! Diet monitor after your meal take a stroll by the side of the beach which as bonus is steps away from this place !!! Thank OROZCO’s team for making our experience...

This was our first time going here and maybe it was because it was mother's day but it took an hour to get our food. It was around 1-2 in the afternoon and it seemed like others were also upset on wait times since there were other parties upset and going up to the kitchen to see what was taking long. Would've been nice if we were told that they were behind but there was no communication that there was gonna be a wait or that they were short staffed and when we were waiting for food there was still no communication, no one came by and asked how we were doing. If you know you're behind let your customers know so I don't waste my time and money. Because then when our food got there, my moms steak she ordered was hard to cut through w the knife they gave, the rice had hard pieces which seemed to be uncooked. My aguachilles were also for my taste eh. For how much we had to wait it just was not good and worth finishing it. I just paid and left. When we told them about our experience with everything the server had said they were behind in the kitchen, which like I said would've been awesome to know when we got there rather than an hour of just sitting there waiting. Communication and organization seemed pretty bad, so not sure if they were missing some people because the younger servers too just didn't seem experienced and looked like they didn't wanna be there. Giving them the benefit of the doubt though since other reviews seem pretty good so maybe got them on a bad day but it was overall just bad and won't be...

Excellent! We couldn't make it to the Tequila & Taco Music Festival at the Ventura Fairgrounds this year 😔 to make up for that we thought of having some great Mexican food in a comfortable environment. Lo and behold my girlfriend finds a Mexican restaurant within minutes of where we sat on the beach. Upon arrival the exterior looks like it could be a small operation. We get inside and start looking up pictures of the plates and immediately we decide on ordering the aguachiles. My girlfriend ordered a custom watermelon with Tito's margarita and I opted for the cucumber margarita with Tequila Ocho. AMAZING flavor!! To start the meal we ordered two each of the asada and fish tacos a la carte. Both dishes presented great colors and flavors. I personally feel like these are the best fish tacos I've ever tasted - the mango on top rounded out the taco flavor with some sweetness. The asada tacos are no joke either! Savory with the hint of citrus on the meat, makes me salivate just thinking about it. To fill out the meal we opted for the asada fajitas to come with our aguachiles (not pictured). Overall I would willingly make the 2 hour trip from the San Gabriel valley again soon to...

Horrible experience. If I could give less then one star I would. This is my first bad review it’s something I just don’t do .. in this case had to. Reservations for 1:35 The lady at the counter handling seating was rude, not welcoming At All. 1:55 being seated. (Party of 3) After we were seated it took a half hour for the waitress to take our drink order.. so at this point we put in our food order as well. Waitress seemed annoyed. Waitress passed by our table 3 times and said I’ll bring out your drinks right now… The drinks didn’t arrive so after 20 min more of waiting we asked a male waiter walking by if he could bring out our drinks. Which he was kind enough to do. No apology from the waitress, but after Another 35 min our food arrived. Different waitress brought out Tortillas 15 min after food arrival. This photo is what they call Carne Asada. This establishment should be embarrassed. There are plenty of other restaurants in Ventura county to visit. Do not waste your time/ money at this one.

We came across this place because we were looking for a new spot to try. First off, Outdoor seating area is very nice! The manager (older gentleman, possibly the owner?) was very attentive to everyone that was seated and/or waiting. What grabbed us to come was their Green michelada which has salsa verde in it. You wouldn’t expect it to taste as good as It did by the sound of it but if you like a spicy miche- try it! We got the aguachiles that had very meaty shrimp. Spice level was about a 7. Steak fajitas were very tasty, vegetables tasted fresh and the rice and beans were ok. Also got a watermelon mimosa that was pretty good but a little too sweet for my liking. However their watermelon Agua was very good! I Definitely recommend any of their agua frescas. Overall we had a pleasant experience. Were looking forward to coming back and try more of their menu.
