Nestled in downtown Ventura on Main Street near Palm, Rori’s Artisanal Creamery is a delightful find. Despite its cozy size, the ambiance is inviting, thanks to ample natural light streaming through the large front windows and vibrant decor.
The selection here is impressive, boasting seasonal artisanal ice creams and a plethora of toppings to customize your treat. The staff’s hospitality is second to none; they’re knowledgeable about the flavors and ingredients, offering samples to help you find your perfect scoop.
I indulged in the honey lavender ice cream, a refreshing delight that struck the perfect balance of flavor without overwhelming the palate. Meanwhile, my niece declared the chocolate ice cream as the best she’s ever tasted—high praise indeed!
While prices may lean towards the higher end, the quality and experience make it worth the splurge, especially for special occasions or a leisurely outing in downtown Ventura. Rori’s Artisanal Creamery is a definite must-visit for ice cream aficionados looking for a...
Read moreI recently visited Rori's Ice Cream, which was featured on the cover of this month's Ventura Ventana magazine. Intrigued by the spotlight story, I decided to give it a try. However, I was surprised by the price—$7.95 for a single scoop. While the portion size was generous, I found the ice cream itself to be overly sweet despite having a good texture. In terms of service, I mentioned to the teenage girl at the counter that I had come after reading the magazine article, but she seemed unaware of the feature and responded with a blank stare.
While Rori's might appeal to those with a strong sweet tooth, my overall experience was underwhelming. Unfortunately, I do not...
Read moreMy bf and I went to get some ice Cream on my birthday after dinner and I had never been there before all of my friends say that ice cream is good and they have gluten-free options so I was excited. We went in and it was probably around 8:15 And the line was about seven people long. It was really hot in there, there was no music and there was one girl working, and there was another girl that was off shift and they were basically talking to each other the entire time. They’re having a full-blown conversation in front of us and not acknowledging any customers at all except for the one she was working with And barely communicating with her at that. We were kind of looking around at each other in there because it was so awkward. Coming from someone who works in the service industry and has for a long time, I walked out after a few minutes. The line didn’t move and Honestly, I lost my...
