It's me and my boyfriends first time in Ventura (California in general) from Texas! I found this place through Google. First impressions: staff is very friendly! Sophia, our waitress, was really spirited and upbeat, giving great service and very helpful recommendations. With her help, I ordered a cucumber refresher from the cocktail menu and absolutely loved it! My boyfriend ordered a Johnny Walker 805 beer and liked it as well. For food, I ordered the chicken sandwich. (10/10) Chicken was cooked nicely and the breading was crispy. My boyfriend ordered the Morning Burger with an egg. Burger was juicy and cooked at a very beautiful medium rare! He also liked the crispness of the bacon(10/10). I went here yesterday for lunch and it was an interesting experience. The food was great I had the giant pretzel and the short rib nachos which were both really good. The waitress though needs to improve. She seemed new so I was patient with her, but she forgot parts of the order. She was constantly standing around on her phone and the other waiter who wasn't even serving us had to come check on us multiple times. While waiting for the check I sat around for 20 minutes and eventually had to go get it myself and return it myself. With better service I'm sure it would have been a very different experience though and worth a try if you don't get...
