I have had two back to back horrid experiences with this store, both involving the "manager" Christopher. The first time, I ordered through the app using a coupon code and free pizza reward. My receipt on the app was for $18, but when the delivery came to the door the bill was $35. I paid it and called the store, and Chris told me he doesn't deal with complaints regarding coupons. When I asked whom to call, he told me to call corporate. I asked how corporate would refund me, considering it was the Vero Beach store that had processed my payment and therefor the only ones able to issue a refund. He cut me off, and kept repeating "call the number call the number" over and over like a child. I called corporate and they told me they could send me a coupon to make up for it, but that the store would have to be the one to issue the credit. I called back several times and left messages, no one ever called me back.
The second time we had a house filled with people and kids for a Christmas Cooke decorating party. We ordered several pizzas and orders of wings, but were only delivered part of the order. When I called to ask when the rest of the food would be delivered so I could decide whether or not to just cancel it and throw some food in the oven for the kids at home (since they had already waited so long) he told me I couldn't cancel the order and would just have to wait. I asked how he planned to resolve the situation and he said he planned to do nothing, and refused to even apologize or acknowledge that a mistake had been made. He then got very argumentative with me and when I reminded him that he had done this to me before, I asked if he had any customer service training and if I could speak to his supervisor. He yelled at me, and said I could try and call back at another time to find his boss but that he had done nothing wrong. I then asked if he was refusing to resolve the situation, he just repeated over and over (same fashion as before) "I'm done talking to you, I'm done talking to you" like a petulant child. I have worked as a restaurant manager and in the business for over a decade and never in my life have I been treated this way. I have contacted corporate who just sends coupons, as if I would ever order from this store ever again, and I have had no one contact me. Read moreI ordered 2 extra cups of icing for the brownie dessert I ordered, I paid the dollar for them but when our food was delivered I only got the one cup that comes free with the dessert. This is not the first time this has happened so I decided to use the guarantee which I tried to do but when I clicked on the link it said sorry you have a problem with your delivery call the store, and it gave me the phone number of the local Dominoes that made the delivery. So I call and let them know, I did not think it was necessary to have the driver use all that time and gas to deliver two little cups of icing. Alternatively, I suggested that they just give me a 1 dollar credit for the next order. The young lady said no we can't do that, she said we can give you 2 free next time you order, I asked what if I do not order a brownie next time? She had no answer other than she can send the driver all the way back, since she refused to listen to reason, or just didn't have the intelligence to understand the ridiculousness of sending the driver back out for such a small item, so I had them spend the time, effort, money, and gas to deliver the two .50 cent icing cups.
This was ridiculous and as stupid a move as I have ever seen in someone doing any kind of business, The management should be aware of the kind of decisions their employees are making. I tried to be nice and cooperative, I just wanted my dollar credit since I paid for a product I did not receive. It cost the store considerably more than one dollar to re-deliver the two icing cups, plus the small cost of the icing.itself. The real issue for me was the attitude and tone of the young lady I was speaking to. Also, I tried to use the guarantee app online and it did not work, I was directed to call the store, Why is that? Is the guarantee false advertising?? It sure seems like that to me. Otherwise why wasn't I permitted to make the claim under their heavily advertised guarantee which says on TV it is specifically for use in cases where there are missing items...
Read moreThis past Sunday I received the WORST customer service from Christopher the shift lead. He was unhelpful and plain rude. He had no customer service what so ever. Here's what happen;
I place and paid a order online for 2 medium pizza a side of garlic knots. After the tracker said the driver had left with my order, I waited over 40 mins for him to get to me. When their store is just a few light's down from my job. When the driver got finally got there, he was missing the knots. Then said " did you order garlic knots?" Isn't he suppose to check what he's taking to people? I told him just have your manager refund it. And he said it takes too long for a refund but to call his manager and that his manager was flexible. I called and spoke to Christopher. He said they don't go by the tracker and wait for them was 1-2 so I was lucky to have gotten it already. If that's true, then what's the point of tracker if it isnt accurate? He also said he couldn't refund me just the knots because he would have to charge me twice for the pizza. He pulled the phone away and clearly said he didnt care. I told him to refund the whole thing and before I had a chance to tell him to come pick up his pizzas, he cut me off and said hes not going to refund the whole thing when I had the pizzas.
