If you haven’t stopped into the Vero Wine Bar yet you are missing out! The owners, David and Maria are very warm, welcoming and neighborly. They are very knowledgeable about wines and their suggestions of wines to try are spot on. Think of what Cheers was like in a neighborly bar and this is what you can expect at Vero Wine Bar. They have a very nice selection of wines from Argentina, Italy, France, Germany, Spain that are very good. They even have a monthly wine club that you can join! In addition, they have a nice selection of beers by the bottle and on draft and a selection of specialty drinks. You can feel comfortable going in by yourself and other patrons there are just as friendly as David and Maria. I have met several nice, friendly people there. A nice, safe place to make friends, relax and engage in conversations sitting at the bar or at a table in the comfy chairs or even outside. They even have a few games scattered about that you can play with your friends. I like that they have several events from wine tastings, to book signings, to a monthly book club, music, trivia and more. If you happen to stop in on your own they have a small reading library so that you can peruse a book while there. They have a selection of eats, too! From munchies like charcuterie boards, fish dips, pizza, flatbreads and sandwiches. The rest of their staff is just as friendly as David and Maria and there are also days where I pop in on the other side to the Painted Frog as they own that as well. I can choose a pottery piece to paint and still have a glass of wine or a coffee depending on the time of day. Vero Wine Bar is definitely an added improvement to the neighborhood. Salute!

We went and checked it out at lunchtime. It was empty, but the attached pottery/ painting was packed. People were ordering food and drinks and taking it next door. (Same owners). The menu was small, but had some good things on it. We had the meat and cheese platter. It was a good portion and tasted great. They have a very large beer and wine selection and some non-alcoholic drinks. It's a cozy and quiet place to have some good food and drinks. When downtown Vero, stop in and give it a try. Mark, the owner/ cook/ bartender was an excellent host. The plates, utensils, straws, and napkins are all paper products. All of the things are biodegradable as Mark wanted to do his part to save the environment.

This is such a nice place to relax and enjoy a glass (or flight) of wine! They also have unique beers on draft and in bottle. I love that their wine selection is so vast and unique. I have tried several wines that I haven't had anywhere else. Is the pizza the best I've ever had? No... but does it work well with the beverage offerings without being too heavy? Yes it does. I am overall happy with my experience (I havr visited twice) and will be back again.

Absolutely wonderful experience at The Vero Wine Bar! From start to finish, everything was perfect. We were fortunate to have David as our guide for the afternoon. He was fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and a true expert on all things wine. He made us feel right at home and helped us navigate the extensive wine list. The food was just as impressive. The 'Pretty as a Peach' oven fresh pizza was a revelation—a delicious combination of sweet and savory that was perfectly cooked. It paired wonderfully with the wine flights we ordered, thanks to David's expert recommendations. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere of the wine bar made for a perfect afternoon out. We left with new favorite wines and a great memory. We will...
