I took my wife out for dinner at your place. It was our first time. We had talked about it often and decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken promptly and the food was decent. However, two women and three toddlers were then seated in the booth next to us. The kids were uncontrolled. They played their IPad at a volume that made it impossible to have a conversation with my wife. Very distracting. The kids were allowed to run up and down the aisles screaming loudly and almost tripping servers carrying food over and over again. One hostess, setting up some tables ran after one of them who was she expressed heading into the kitchen. It was totally uncontrolled until moments before their departure. The two women did nothing. And here's the other issue. Not one server, not the hostess, nor any other Applebees representative do anything to stop it. They just let them disturb us and other customers. They finally left. Turns out they were to go customers and could have cared less about the other diners. I begrudgingly relented to my wife to remain silent. Not having been to Applebees before, I thought that this might be allowed under the guise of being a family restaurant. However, seeing other well behaved families throughout the premises, I just don't understand why the management, or lack of it would allow it to continue without addressing it. Not only this, but as we left out the front door about 30 feet, there were two homeless appearing women asking for money. When my wife politely declined, one of them dropped the F bomb on us. Management of Applebees is not paying attention at the cost of their customers. You have to manage by "wandering around" and not from behind a desk. Good management is hands on and ever present. I saw no evidence of this at this Applebees. Needless to say, we will never return. We will share our experience with others to your detriment. Your organization has a long way to go to "make...
Read moreI've been to this location a few times in the last few months, and it's not improved. It's nothing like it was before the covid. It has not recovered. I never see it full anymore, and I'm starting to guess why. The waitress/waiters are nice enough, but half the time, it takes the food way too long to come for how NOT packed the place is, and the other half of the time the food is cold. I think the best experience in months was the other day on a Sunday when my aunts came and we had lunch. Then the other night I went with my grandmother, our pasta came out luke warm with the sauce looking dried out on the top like it had been sitting for a while. The fries were plenty fresh and hot, but my dinner was the 3 Cheese Chicken Penne. We tried asking for extra sauce, hoping it would come in the ceramic dish like the artichoke dip and be steaming hot to reheat our pasta. Instead, they brought us 2 small ranch size cups that were also only slightly warm. And that's after we waited for almost 10 minutes, allowing our pasta to get even colder, hoping to have the revitalizing sauce. This is the 5th or 6th time I've been in in about as many months. I'm not sure what has happened to this location, but it has not bounced back like the one down in Fontana. That one is still always packed, and I don't have issues with the food like I have been having here. It really makes me sad since I LOVE the Oriental Chicken salad and the 3 Cheese Chicken Penne. This is the closest one to my house, but I might have to start trying the one at Jess Ranch. If you come to this one regularly and don't have any issues, let me know. Maybe there's a best day to go...
Read moreWe went in for my sister's birthday and wasn't too pleased with everything. We waited an hour and a half for our food to come out. obviously one of the managers realized it came over to our table and asked if everything was okay? I then explain to him we were waiting a really long time for our food to come out. When it finally did we were told be careful the plates are hot and they were. Unfortunately our food was cold. I didn't understand how that was possible. My sister's steak was overcooked and cold along with her broccoli and mashed potatoes. She is 8 pregnant and it was for her birthday so I felt really bad and asked for a manager. FYI, there was seven people in our party at our table. As I waited for the manager I felt my three cheese chicken penne and the chicken and noodles were cold as well. My other sister ordered a pasta dish as well, which the noodles were undercooked and very chewy. Finally when the manager came to see us he immediately took back the dishes. When My sister's steak came out it was cooked to her liking but when my penne came out for the second time it was again cold. I explained to the manager My frustration and he said he would take off $10 for my check. To my belief there must have been a new cook or people being trained and I just wish we would have had better service because I could have made a better dish at home that would have been hot steamy fresh. I hope Applebee's in Victorville does better next time. Also, I've been to this one before and have never had any issue like this so this was really disappointing for me...
