Josh needs to stay at home if he doesnt want to work. I went out of my way 20 mins to this specific location to get a #9 with cucumbers and extra oregano in 100 degree weather. It was š„š„µ and my mouth was watering. I had a choice and I chose this location which I wouldn't normally do because it's attached to a gas station. Not something I prefer doing but it was clean so anywho. The gentleman who took my order was excellent, His customer service was superb. 10 stars. Josh on the other hand gets 1 star..only because I can't go any lower..lol and I'm a nice person. Seriously though, he was slamming the seasoning shaker, (several times)rolling his eyes, sliding the sandwich on the counter aggressively etc. All because I asked for extra oregano Josh?. Really?! Seriously though, All of this aggressive and rude behavior was unprovoked. I asked for my money back because no one deserves to be treated that way and I was uncomfortable and didn't know what he was going to do to my food before I got it. ( Drop it on the floor ..maybe..idk..i didnt want to go get my drink..because i wanted to keep my eyes on him) But enough was enough so I asked the friendly guy for my money back .....OMG š² Josh grabbed that half made sandwich aggressively and slammed it in the trash right in front of me. (Really Josh?! Why? What did I do to you to be treated so poorly? Do I remind you of your ex? Your middle school coach that didnt let you be a part of the swim team? Your next door neighbor that keeps taking your favorite parking spot?) Seriously though. I am making lite of the situation but it wasn't ok. His actions were scary and rude. Didn't know what he was going to do next. Bottom line is... The sandwich , chips and drink was $17/$18...that's high...but that's everywhere. Inflation is real and these food prices are ridiculous. I had been a faithful customer of Jimmy John's before I moved her, and was happy to see the location open. So it was frustrating to me when my first experience with the new store was so bad. When I went to their store, the customer service I received was horrible, especially for a first impression. First they messed up my order, then they tried to tell me it was my fault that they screwed up and asked me to pay for something I didn't order. That was two weeks ago. Today I decided to give them another chance against my better judgement. But instead of the good experience I had hoped for, I found out that their delivery service is even worse. According to their policy I live one block outside their delivery zone, therefore they won't deliver to my house. Even though my house is only 5 minutes away from their store. When I explained to the manager that I would be willing to pay an extra five bucks for the gas the driver would use to go the extra block, she still turned me down. Her excuse was, that according to her phone it would take eight minutes to get to my house and therefore her corporate office wouldn't allow it. Sadly, in other states that Jimmy John's locations are in this wouldn't have been a problem, I know because I've lived in those states and have never had an issue. But apparently California's Jimmy John's locations weren't trained in customer service. The owner is also there almost every time I come in which means so much to me! He is energetic and runs a tight ship!
They greet you with enthusiasm and truly care about your order. Treat people with respect always and youāll be amazed at the result! I am seeing a lot of negativity with other reviews and I have never had any issue with the food or the employees.
