Raul's Tequila & Kitchen — Restaurant in Victorville

Seen this place on FB, seen the interior and thought this would be a nice ambiance restaurant.When we arrived the exterior looked like we were at a drive thru fast food restaurant. We walked in and ask for a table for 5, they had us wait in the small waiting area, and while we waited other customers arrived and they sat them down Immediately, we approached the host and ask them why we're waiting for more then 10 mins and other ppl arrived and they're sitting them at the table. The host replied they thought we were still waiting on our guest. So they finally sat my party. To keep short the waitress could not get our order right. The margaritas flights to me where over priced and they tasted like syrup could not taste the alcohol, food was decent and it came out fresh. But unfortunately with the poor service, and the exterior of the restaurant we will not return. I assumed this would be a beautiful ambiance restaurant after seeing the interior photos on Facebook.We thought we were at a drive-through fast food restaurant from the outside when we first arrived. After asking for a table for five when we first got in, they made us wait in the little waiting area. As we waited, more customers came in and were seated. The moment someone else arrived and sat down at the table, we went over to the host and asked them why we had been waiting for almost ten minutes. The host retorted that they believed we were still awaiting our visitor. At last, they sat us at a table. To put it briefly, the waitress struggled to correctly take our order. The cuisine was good and served fresh, however I thought the margarita flights were overpriced and tasted like syrup with no alcohol discernible. BEER DRINKERS BEWARE

I spent hours at the bar on Sunday catching up with family. We had many many drinks which were all absolutely amazing. Angel has GREAT suggestions. He is pretty much a mixologist because he can match your vibe with a drink and make changes on the fly if necessary. I had such a great experience and haven't spent that much in a long time! I will do it again.

Now here comes the issue which left me ABSOLUTELY FLOORED.

The manager poured a draft Modelo. The keg was out. You could tell....all foam.

Rather than telling the customer the beer will take a minute or offer a bottled beer this guy....and no joke, this MANAGER, poured a BOTTLED Modelo into a beer glass and then POURED THE FOAM from the other cup onto the bottled beer to make it appear like it was DRAFT. I really couldn't believe it and sat there with my brother completely bewildered and at a loss for words.

How can you deceive a customer, give them crap foam from the bottom of a keg, and remain completely unbothered? Profit over people.

I would never order a draft beer from here unless I was sitting at the bar or at the very least at a table with a clear shot of the taps.

If you want a draft beer you're expecting a draft beer. Some people prefer it and some don't. Just be honest to these paying customers!

Initially I was very impressed to see many people at this restaurant. The prices are high considering the location and overall restaurant environment. The food is okay, I came to this restaurant because I read that they had good menudo and homemade tortillas. When we arrive I asked the waitress if they make homemade tortillas and she said, "yes". We ordered menudo, mulitas and other things for our family. When the waitress brought out our food she gave us commercial made tortillas. I told her this was not homemade tortillas and she stated they were, but they were made in a machine not by hand. The mulitas were terrible one side hard and the other a little bit softer. Mulitas suppose to be a soft quesadilla made of masa with meat not a hard quesadilla made of commercial tortillas. Then I saw a waitress with 4 big bags of commercial tortillas and she took them to the lady that suppose to be making the fresh tortillas and she was heating them up and rapping them on aluminum foil. I never saw the lady make homemade tortillas not by hand nor by machine. I only saw commercial tortillas. Very disappointed! The The food doesn't reflect the quality of the food been served at...
