Super weird experience here.. I guess I had a new server as I was told thatb2 or three times. She took my appetizer order twice. Got "loaded" fries but turns out it's just a handful of fries with 1 piece of bacon chopped up and some sour creme lightly drizzled on top. I had the jalapenos on the side for my kids. Definitely not worth the $7.99 we paid for it. Order some chicken dish and it looked like it was one chicken finger chopped up or some fries and rice... once again not worth it.. ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was super dry with minimal amounts of anything on it. Again not worth it. I thought coming to this little spot would be better than Texas roadhouse down the road in terms of price and quality and yet I was sadly mistaken. They did however give me free dessert since I had a total of 3 servers asking me three different things and completely confusing us. I give it 3 stars instead of one cause I'm sure this place will go under soon and they could use some last minute business. Other than that...

A compromise choice since hubby wanted a burger and I wanted Latin American. He did get a mushroom Swiss burger, which he pronounced only okay. The fries, which were also in my loma saltado (which was beef as the waiter suggested as opposed to the pollo saltado - which, of course, was with chicken), were good enough to eat without ketchup. And my loma saltado was pretty good, with large slices of onion and tomato plus some green pepper. I can't comment how authentic it was, but the meat was pretty tender. It also seemed a bit vinegary and maybe contained even a touch of soy (or was it worcestershire?) sauce.

No dessert menu, but bread pudding a la mode and churros were available. However, not a big fan of either, so can't tell you how they were. The waiter said that sometimes cheesecake was available, but none was to be...

10/21/23 Stopped by several times for beers but last night grabbed some food. I got Carnitas 15.99, they were really tasty. So much food. Some great looking food all around me also. So friendly and welcoming. Salsa was on point. Must try. Great place to go.

Great food and people, the owners are super friendly!! I went here to watch the UFC 202 card and have some food. Everything that came out to all the tables looked awesome and our wings and nachos were super tasty. The server Jazz was one of the best servers I had in a long time. She is really nice and helpful (very cute also). We are making this our go to spot for the fights. The owners are great.. This is a must try. Make a trip for dinner and get some drinks, the bar looks like a fun place to...

Went to LZ Tequila Jalisco a few weeks back with a friend because we were in the mood for a margarita! Was in the area so we decided to stop and give it a try. WORTH IT! Not only were the margaritas delicious, but the food was terrific. The owner, Jesus, was our server that day and his service was phenomenal! We got there right when it opened and benefited from trying samples of some of his drink ideas (a Minty Margarita and Mexican Moonshine, HELLO!) and some of the carnitas that was cooking overnight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LZ Tequila Jalisco!!!

After a mini quest to find the best Mexican restaurant in Virginia Beach, this one takes my vote. It has some unique menu items (along with the usual ones) and offers black beans (a rarity in this area). Default salsa is slightly spicy and delicious, and white sauce is good (by request only unfortunately, so ask for it). Bartenders will certainly take care of you here as well. Adding to the delight, there's a happy hour on beer and margaritas from 4-7pm at least on weekdays. Worth a visit. I had the pollo fundito.
