I have worked in IT for 22 years in this area. Over that time I have had to deal with ESI on numerous occasions. That are less than reputable and unless it involves them making a sale, they are not willing to follow through.
Even if it does involve a sale, be prepared to be blown off. About five years ago I was trying to renew our subscription on energizer updates for our spam filter that was leased through ESI. It took 10 days for ESI to process it. The next year I told our Barracuda rep that there was no way I was going to go through a repeat of that process. Even though it cost an extra $60, I did the renewal over the phone with Barracuda and it was complete that day.
In December I called them to remove a Xerox copier we had leased from Xerox. Because Xerox has assigned ESI to handle our account, I have had to try and deal with them to get it done. Two months later and I still have the copier. They have blown me off on numerous phone calls.
Don't deal with this company if you have other options, and if you are told that ESI is your Xerox, Barracuda, Cisco, etc I recommend telling them that its a dealbreaker to deal with ESI. The aggravation is too...
Read moreI had a lease agreement for a Xerox printer/copier for years. I sold my business, the buyer did not want the machine and I was told by ESI I had 6 months left on the lease. At the end of the 6 months I tried multiple times to speak to someone to stop the lease payment and to have the machine picked up. Finally I received a call after I got upset because I had paid three more months of payments and was told it was my responsibility to send it back and my responsibility to pay for it. The cost to return it is $799.95 plus the cost I paid for the 9 months I wasn't using it. Ridiculous. I could never recommend leasing a Xerox machine from them. I am sure some of it was my fault because I did not read the fine print, but NOONE ever said it would be my responsibility to pay to return the machine, they said it was in the agreement I had signed. Beware, read the entire lease agreement before...
Read moreThis Company is firing experienced employees and attempting to hire inexperienced employees where they don't have to pay them as much. They pay badly and Managers are asking employees if they have friends they don't have to pay much. So Customers will be affected. Newer PTG Management is running amuck with the Service Dept. of this Company. They have fired so many that they have an ad out for new victims in all areas again now, to hire then fire. Bad experiences with this Company. Company follows employees with GPS on phones and calls them if they can't track every move. Employees have shared also unhappy...
