UPDATE
The owner (Sheila) finally reached out to me & has stated that Stephanie will be fired. However the fact that babies are still only receiving 15 min to eat a meal is not ok. On the specific day that i was informed that my child could not eat they were ONLY serving oatmeal. If the child does not like what is being served they have no other nutritional option of food & will be offered crackers or chips or will have to wait til lunch or snack time which is usually crackers, chips or some type of fruit. When they change the childrenâs diapers they wear gloves which is good but they use the same pair of gloves for all the children. Recently they had a breakout of hand foot & mouth disease & instead of receiving an email or call they posted a notice on the classroom door. Iâve also received a threatening email from Sheila stating that my review needed to be updated or removed otherwise she would report me to my command & other entities. I will not have my child return to that school for fear of his safety & what they may do to him.
RUN! Run as far away from this place as possible. My son has been going her for 5 months & today i decided to remove him. The other day i dropped him off during breakfast & they informed me that they were done eating so he would not be able to eat. Heâs 1 yrs old! I asked if they could at least give him a croissant or something to which Stephanie his class lead ânoâ & that sheâll give him crackers or chips (definitely not a balanced nutritional meal especially at 8am) Thankfully Jenn (the front desk lady gave him breakfast) they informed me later on that he refused to eat because he didnât like what was offered & proceeded to give him crackers instead. The following morning i talked to Stephanie to inquire about breakfast hours & what other options a child has if they donât like whatâs being served. Come to find out breakfast is only 15min long ! & they donât give the children options for any other snack not even a dang eggo waffle. Theyâll give them chips or crackers if they donât eat. I informed her that was crazy because thatâs not even a balanced nutritional meal. They receive $1100-$1200 a month per child a month & they canât even give them nutritional meals. She proceeded to roll her eyes & raise her voice towards me for bringing up concerns about my child & how that was wrong. She continued on to laugh at me & tell me i need to find privatized childcare. Jenn had to tell her to remove herself from the facility. He attitude & demeanor was very unprofessional & i felt that she had some hostility towards me that she would take out on my child so i asked Jenn to remove her from my childâs classroom cause i was concerned for his safety. Prior to leave i told Jenn Iâd like to have a conversation with Sheila (the owner) however the following day i received an email from Sheila saying my child was terminated. She never even took the time to speak to me. This isnât the first time Iâve had issues with them either. They falsely the daily reports saying that my child ate when he hasnât & have poor sanitation.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM...
Read moreThis is going to be an interesting read, I assure you. On Friday August 30th 2024, my two year old fell in class, busted her lip and her two front teeth fell out. Yeah, Iâm giving a 5 star review of a Daycare, where my child fell, and HER TEETH FELL OUT.
Now, if you wouldâve asked me 5 days ago, if Iâd leave a 5 star review for this, I would have said âHELL NO!â but this was an eye opening experience as a first time mom, and in a very bad situation, our family encountered all the best case scenarios.
Our daughter has been attending Le Bon since February of this year. Le Bon scooped up our little family and has been super informative and encouraging and that has been appreciated as first time parents. My daughter is a âscampâ she was weary of Le Bon at first, but now she waltzes in the door like she owns the place. She knows her friendsâ names, the teachersâ names, and the two amazing women who run the helm Whitney and Jenn.
This place is always super clean, organized and well run. Truly, lâve always been in awe of how grounded Whitney is, and the way she runs a tight ship.
Back to the incident. Whitney called my phone and my husbandâs phone as soon as the incident happened. The teachers on duty scooped up my daughter, cleaned her up and cared for her. They grabbed her teeth, and put them in a baggy (yup, that actually happened) supplied us with diapers and wipes, so we could go straight to the ER. When my husband picked our daughter up, she wasnât even phased, and insisted on climbing in the car herself, thatâs how well taken care of she was that day.
Basically everyday of the Labor Day weekend, Whitney would check up on my family. Not is a way that the daycare might worry about a law suit, but in a way that was genuine, caring, like family.
I asked for a meeting, because as a parent whose kid got really injured at daycare, obviously I need a prompt and informative follow up. The owner Shiela, Whitney, the teachers on duty Diymon and Gabbi where there to talk to us. We LOVE Diymon, Diymon just has that aura of care about her and I do trust her whole heartedly. Shiela was very open to our concerns and suggestions and l am confident about our future with Le Bon moving forward.
Yes, as a mother it killed me to see my baby get hurt. I felt it with every ounce of my body. It was a bit traumatic and my soul felt crushed. I also know my two year old. I know she runs when sheâs told not to. I know that she knows what âwalking feetâ are and sheâll smirk at me and keep running. Sheâs a two year old that acts like a two year old.
There is a suggestion that my husband and l threw out there, to Sheila, today. I think it would benefit everyone involved moving forward, if implemented. But if itâs not, it wonât stop us from making the choice to attend Le Bon. The Le Bon Family that is a part of that building truly cares. Any review that says otherwise, I believe, is someone that isnât going to be happy at any other daycare. Being a parent is difficult, itâs terrifying but we canât keep our children locked up, thatâs not beneficial for...
Read more!!!!Read it all if youâre serious about your kiddos childcare!!! Frigginâ Love this place. I wish this was the standard of childcare everywhere. Every child deserves the right to a home away from home.
As you walk in, safely secured there are phones, the teachers phones! I donât think Iâve ever seen a childcare center be so serious, about the un-disrupted attention your babies get.
Here are some of my personal favorites:
Every staff member knows my kidsâ names. After the adjustment period (which they were so kind and helpful about), heâs been thriving!
They provide disability progressive care. Many of the challenges of being an autistic child, which I was worried Iâd have to explain, were already part of the staff training.
âSo fresh and so cleanâ: They have in-house washers and use allergy-safe, color-free detergents.
Every evening, they sterilize everything, and they have dedicated days for intense top-to-bottom sterilizing. Even the playgrounds are clean.
So safe:
The front desk is manned all day, and entry is only allowed once a staff member verifies who you are and disengages the automatic bolt lock. Make sure youâre camera-ready, because there are cameras everywhere. Your babies are safe.
Iâve never been worried about his safety. I know that they will care for him and let me know if he needs anything.
They have a new location opening! This means more children can receive what should be the standard...
