I have always gone to this particular Taco Bell ever since it opened and I've never had a problem up until yesterday. I live on the Eastern Shore of VA so I don't have the privilege of eating at Taco Bell often. I just happened to have a doctors appointment yesterday (02/05/2024) in VA Beach so my children and I went to the Taco Bell at 4597 Virginia Beach Blvd. I went through the drive through and ordered 16 items (4 meals for 4 people.) After pulling up to the window I even asked the sweet cashier to double check the Fiesta potatoes that we ordered. I ordered 2 with no sour cream and 1 with sour cream. She proceeded to read it back and said yes that is what I have. After receiving my meal I went to the parking lot to check on the order before leaving. Come to find out I received 2 Fiesta potatoes with sour cream and 0 with none. I decided to walk in and let the cashier know the order was incorrect. She apologized and told me to keep the 2 with sour cream and she would have them make the 2 Fiesta potatoes without sour cream I originally ordered. Then the manager decided to step in and tell the cashier that she needed to throw away the extra Fiesta potato with sour cream. I asked since there was an inconvenience of me having to walk inside if I could just have it instead of wasting the food. She then told me no and had the cashier take the Fiesta potato with sour cream and throw it away right in front of my face. The amount of disrespect I was shown was uncalled for. First I was told to keep the extra Fiesta potato and then the manager argued back and forth with me after telling her my food was going to get cold while having to wait for them to remake more Fiesta potatoes. She said no it's not and I told her yes it is and she just walked away and disappeared after she had the cashier throw the food away right while I was standing there. Honestly I could care a less about the Fiesta potato it was the mere fact I was told to keep it and then the manager just snatched it away from me and had it thrown away right in front of me. All that was, was pride. That was not a manager doing her job. She made me feel like I was wrong and she was right. When they were the ones to get my order wrong in the first place. Also it's called a drive through for a reason, so the customer can order and not have to get out of their vehicle. If anything the cashier should be the manager because she handled it the correct way. Whoever the manager was on duty yesterday should definitely take notes on how the cashier handled it because all that manager did was have a power trip and made me never want to return to that Taco Bell again. I couldn't even eat my food I was so upset. So yes I was highly dissatisfied with my experience at this particular Taco Bell and I hope whoever the manager on duty is knows about it as well...
Read moreMe and my son came in the dining room, ordered food from the Kiosk. Food was great, probably the best I have had from Taco Bell. Went to make my driink and the soda was flat, went to counter to see if they could make it in the back. I waited at the counter until someone greeted me, the gentlemen who greeted me was helping another guest but asked me what I needed. I told him the soda tasted weird, I work in fast food my self, trying to help them I mentioned it tasted flat. He got irritated and said someone will help you in a moment and shook his head. Another gentlemen working I believe drive thru was AWESOME and helped me no questions asked. After eating i wanted a refill and I waited by the counter again, this time a lady spoke with me and got an attitude because i asked for a refill. She didnt know it wasnt working and said why cant I use the one in the dining room. Long story short, 3/4 of the employees working here do not want to interact with customers, when they do they act like its the biggest inconvenience for them.
Thank you to the 1 employee who was working and going above and beyond. To the other you made the atmosphere very uninviting and I didnt feel welcome at all. Its a shame that the customer service is lacking because the...
Read moreSince CoVid ordering has changed. Order either online, at the Drive Thru or at Kiosks in the store. Menu is now only found either online, outside at the Drive Thru or at the indoor ordering kiosks [No overhead signs inside the store anymore]. Since Taco Bell has a senior discount the only way to get it when ordering at the indoor kiosk is when finalizing to pay is to select cash. Then, when you go to the counter tell them you want senior discount and they will apply it at the counter. This manner of ordering seems to slow up the process of ordering food and is very inconvenient!
A long while ago they dropped Dr.Pepper from their lineup of sodas. And, being that most places that carry Pepsi products usually have Dr.Pepper on hand this has been a major disappointment to me (for quite a while), as I am sure it has been to many others!
Some of the alternatives I think they should remove because Noone hardly drinks them compared to Dr.Pepper.
On the one plus side, as of this writing they still have the $5.00 value meal , which is a great value for all that you get!
I miss the warm cheese fries and cheese sauce, though....
Maybe, that can be...
