America's Best Wings - Woodbridge — Restaurant in Virginia

I am a faithful customer and reccomend America’s Best to many but in my recent visits I have been very disappointed. The wings are never consistent. I ordered the old bay wings and one visit they looked naked and very wet which they never look like that. I asked the employee about them and he said they were fine and didn’t do anything about them. I didn’t feel like an argument so I just left it alone. Another time I ordered the old bay wings and they looked and tasted different yet again. I also ordered fish and wings for my mother. Her food was not up to par. With the fish you either get your choice of rice or bread. So I tried the rice and I had two different color rice. I was disappointed so when I went back and ordered fish again I asked if I could substitute the rice for something else because last time I had two different rice and it was not very tasty also rice is a choking hazard for my mother. The cashier just shrugged it off like he didn’t care and said that I could get bread. I told him the bread is always extremely stale and asked if I could get something else. I used to love eating at this place but after tonight I will NEVER eat there again. This is the second time they have put something in my food. The first time was a few months ago when I bit into my sub and found a cheese wrapper inside of it and then today I ordered a salad and found an entire piece of butcher paper in the middle of my salad . I am disgusted and recommend they fire the cooks they have on staff and start fresh. It’s sad that no matter what I’ll never be able to eat here again because it’s left such a bad taste in my mouth. Do better. I will never recommend this place to ANYONE!

Update 3/14/24: I spoke with the owner and the picture has been confirmed as their sub. The owner has posted and deleted multiple responses to my review. When I spoke to him on the phone he repeatedly asked me to remove my bad review due to him not being there and he wanted to make my food. I politely declined because he needs to properly train his staff in his absence. I have added a new photo of the owners original response...

The facility was nice and clean, plenty of places to sit and they also had a couple TV's mounted on the wall for those that want to dine in. The two people that were working when I first went were extremely nice and friendly.

On to the important part, the food! I ordered the Boneless Honey BBQ wings and the Jamaican Jerk (rub). The Honey BBQ wings were AMAZING!!! The Jamaican Jerk wings were just ok, they were a bit dry, I would have preferred if it was a sauce rather than a rub, but I was not aware that it was going to be a rub. The fries were that good either, pretty plain, didn't have any salt on them either..but to be honest I was there for wings didn't really care too much about the fries. They also serve deserts which I believe are homemade (they appeared to be anyway).

Overall my experience was great, I definitely recommend getting the Boneless Honey BBQ. Also for a short time they are doing a military...
