HIGHLY Disappointing …. As a food critic, normally I am a little more lenient far as local bar spots go…But THIS wasn’t pleasing at all

. The nachos Were very tough and stuck together as a whole, which led me to believe Maybe it was a new employee?? majority of the cheese was layered UNDER the chips instead of the opposite , which created this list, one with all affect with the nachos. Being so, the flavor profile this is consistent. so the nachos was very dry and unpleasant.

It was no love shared with the fish and chips as you can see in the photo I truly felt robbed with that one for sure

I loved this bar the first time my boyfriend and I went. It was clean, had great music, not too busy or crowded, everyone was social distancing, and the drinks were awesome and cheap. We especially loved the pool table. That night we put a $5 in the table (to play best 3 out of 5) and it only let us play 3 games. When we asked the bartender to see if we could be reimbursed, she said she could leave a note for her manager to call us, but she couldn't do anything about it because it would come from her pocket. Understandable. The next day I did not receive any calls or voicemails. We returned the following weekend, with the same bartender, and she was very dismissive saying she gave her manager the note and she could leave another one. We still have not received a call back. Cool little dive sports bar, with PLENTY of televisions, and a few pool tables (quality ones as most bar pool tables are beat to hell) and other games throughout for additional entertainment. THEY ALLOW SMOKING INSIDE CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?! If you are looking for the last bastion of smoking bars then here you are. Step out of the Commonwealth Oligarchy step inside Breakers for a drink.
