You may see those 5 star reviews thrown in here and there and I can almost guarantee they've been paid by the restaurant to write those reviews.

We spent $70 for two people (delivery fee), and unfortunately for us we didn't read the reviews before ordering. It was semi-edible. The dumplings were for sure frozen, they looked black on the inside and had freezer burn. I'm not sure the chicken was actually chicken? It seemed more like McDonald's chicken nuggets-style. It had some flavor, but we threw the rest of our order away because it was just not edible. Someone wrote that the chicken was 98% breading, and they weren't wrong. The food was indeed mushy, someone else wrote that. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. I kept getting really chewy and crunchy (not in the good way) pieces of "chicken", and the bites that suddenly don't taste like chicken. It didn't even look like chicken.

After ordering for well over 20 years with delivery, I was informed tonight that they have a five mile delivery area. I am 6.1 miles away and have spent at well over a thousand dollars (probably much more) during that time. The last time I ordered was two weeks ago with no issues. They told me that this was a long time protocol and also informed me they are now charging a three dollar delivery fee. Never had that before either. I always tip the driver well. All being said, I can't believe a long term customer would be treated like this out of the blue and the total disregard of my concerns as a long time patron by the manager and staff was very upsetting to me. With a few blips over the years, I have generally been very satisfied with this place but will no longer continue with my patronage. I feel as though I have been deceived by the staff and just "tossed to the curb" by them. Bad business model! UPDATE!!!!! They have apparently altered their delivery policy and deliver to my address again!!!! Even with the few "blips" I am well pleased as this is BY FAR the best Chinese take-out in Richmond at good prices! That was why it was so disappointing. Here's to...

This place is truly awful. First of all, these are not nice or friendly greeting people. I’ve been hear twice and they’ve messed up my WALK-IN/CARRY OUT order. I went with my mother the first time and a friend the second time. How do you mess up chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, and chicken fried rice? TWICE! The flavor of their Chinese food is gross too. My spring rolls were disgusting and my friend had a tummy ache from the chicken and broccoli. I’d say their food and oil is really old. They are also incredibly stingy with utensils and condiments etc. they didn’t put any in my bags... TWICE. I had to go back in and ask for a spoon, fork, and a couple of napkins. I’ve also never been anywhere where the food is this overpriced. Plenty of other Chinese restaurants and places to go to. This place SUCKS! They don’t give receipts either. ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT. Over-priced...
