A Mixed Experience with Some Truly Outstanding Dishes
I’ve dined here on three separate occasions, and overall, the experience has been a mix of highs and lows. My first visit on Christmas Eve 2022 was exceptional—outstanding service, warm atmosphere, and unforgettable food. The methi murgh (listed under a different name at the time) remains one of the best Indian dishes I’ve ever had. The Chef’s Special Tandoori Chicken was equally impressive.
Unfortunately, the methi dish has since disappeared from the menu and hasn’t returned, which was disappointing. On my latest visit (April 28, 2025), the Turmeric Lemon Tandoori Chicken was another standout—bold, flavorful, and something I’d happily order again.
Portion sizes are modest—enough to satisfy but not likely to leave you with leftovers, which may be a downside for some. Service has also changed noticeably. While the servers were efficient, they lacked the warmth and personality that made my first visit so memorable. It felt a bit mechanical this time around.
One consistent issue: the dining room is uncomfortably cold. It genuinely felt like an icebox inside, which detracted from the experience. Pricing is on the higher side, especially without a lunch menu—expect to spend $20–$30 per person for lunch, and more if you order drinks or appetizers at dinner.
In summary, while the ambiance and service could use refinement, the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. I’ve had two absolutely fantastic dishes here, and that alone keeps this place on my radar. A few adjustments—especially to the service and comfort—could really elevate the...

We had high expectations but our experience was far from satisfactory. Here's a rundown of our disappointing meal:
Chicken 65: Despite requesting a 5 out of 5 spice level, this dish tasted more like a dessert. There was no hint of the spice we were looking forward to.
Punjabi Chicken Curry: This tasted like white chicken simply sautéed in tomato puree. It lacked the rich and authentic flavors one would expect from a Punjabi curry.
Fried Veg Potstickers: These were the worst we've had. They were tangy, undercooked, and despite requesting a 5-level spice, we were charged an extra $4 for the additional spice which didn’t improve the dish at all.
Goat Biryani: This was the most disappointing dish of all. The meat was not fresh, and it didn’t taste like goat at all. It seemed like they mixed basmati rice with Shan masala powder and added some unidentified bones, definitely not goat. The only redeeming quality was the presentation, but that’s not enough.
Butter Naans and Lachha Paratha: These were decent, but there were no good curries to pair them with.
Water: The water was good and at least quenched our thirst during this hot summer.
Lastly, the service was incredibly slow. We waited for at least 40 minutes just for a waiter to acknowledge us.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t...

I treated my visiting mother and sister to an early Mother's Day dinner, and it turned out to be an unforgettable affair. In an age where exceptional customer service is rare, the staff at Lazeez stood out with their remarkable warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness. Our server, Diamond, was an absolute delight, skillfully guiding us through the menu and ensuring every aspect of our meal was impeccable.
The medley of dishes we savored truly tantalized our taste buds and delighted our senses. From the crisp Dosas to the rich dahl, flavorful butter chicken, and tender Braised Lamb Rogan Josh, accompanied by fragrant rice and pillowy nan, each bite was a symphony of flavors. The addition of sparkling rose elevated the experience to another level. And let me emphasize just how delectably tasty every morsel was; it was as if each dish was crafted to serenade my palate.
To conclude our evening on a sweet note, we indulged in chai, kolfi, and rasmalai, which perfectly rounded out our culinary journey. The personal touch from the owner, who took the time to welcome us, was truly appreciated and added to the warmth of the experience. Needless to say, I am already looking forward to returning to Lazeez to indulge in more of their...
