I give this place 2 stars because the burgers were actually quite tasty. If it weren't for that, then 0 stars it would be. I decided to place my order for "curbside" pick up. I put curbside in quotes because it didn't quite work out that way. I pulled into the reserved spot, checked in through the text message I received and even verified the check in was successful by using the website listed on their sign. It showed that I had checked in, so all was good. After 15....yes 15 minutes of waiting in my car, I decided to go in and just get it. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they were busy, but this was nowhere near the case. The entire restaurant was free of customers (none were at the counter ordering, nor was anyone at a table eating). Oh, and I should say that during the 15 minutes of waiting in my car, no cars were going through the drive through and no line was present either. So upon walking up to the counter, I'm greeted with "Oh, is this you?" She then asks if I am the curbside pick up, again, no one else in the store or in line. I respond with "I guess" when she slides a bag across the counter to me. This bag was prepared. There were at least 6-8 employees all standing around doing nothing. They couldn't bring this out to me? I grab my bag and notice I am missing a drink. I ask about the other drink and this same employee basically throws the cup to me and says "you can fill it yourself". I say nothing and turn to fill the drink. I assume a manager (who was part of this 6-8 employees standing around doing nothing) sees all of this and barks at me "the employee should be filling your drink" as if I was the wrong one in this ordeal. I shook my head, said "not now", grabbed my food and left. Terrible service speaks far louder than the taste of the food. I will not be going back and I hope that no one else gets treated with disrespect and disregard like...

Update: Glad to say the Midlothian location seems to have gotten their act together despite the rough start. The last two times we visited, the kitchen was operating in a professional manner and our orders were prepared correctly. We do still check before leaving, however. The drive thru service was friendly, accurate, but remains a bit slow. Don't get in line if you're in a rush as you won't be able to get out -- it's one lane!
Original review: If you place a take-out order or use the drive-thru, you'd do well to check your order -- including a quick inspection of ingredients on your sandwich -- BEFORE you leave. Twice in a row for take-out and several times when ordering inside, we've had to return to get our order corrected.
The kitchen is too often confused about what to put on which burger and which burger goes in which bag. Not so much of a problem when dining in, but a real inconvenience to arrive home and find your NO mayo burger with cheese is missing its cheese and swimming in mayo.
Corporate policy prevents the store from doing anything to compensate for their errors or your inconvenience. You lump it or drive back for an order correction then must use the website to file a complaint or get a refund. It's likely we've made our last trip to Habit Burger even though we enjoy the food.
Update: A couple of weeks after filing an online complaint, coupons for free burgers arrived from Habit Burger HQ as an apology for the errors and to encourage us to give the franchise another chance. Last time -- it was a slow period and the kitchen staff wasn't bantering with one another -- they got our order right. I'm still not sure we'll be back to pay full price for a meal. Again, however, the food was good and the lady taking our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat Grilled Burger Grill Resteraunt. First time here, had the Santa Barbra. The Burger was really good and was on sourdough bread. The bread alone was toasted to perfection with right color and amount of butter, very impressed with the bread alone. The other burger was a Grilled Chicken Teriyaki Ciabatta Bun. Chicken grilled to near perfection and not dry. Picked up a few Onion Rings was real good and looks to be lightly salted. Also had their Tempura Beans. Now this was the only bad thing i got. The batter you could tell was too thinned out, more than likely used too much water and the batter probably was just flour as the Tempura Beans had no real taste or flavor. It was a boring side. The beans could had been cooked a little longer and would should had made sure it had butter or some type of seasoning for it before dropping it into the tempura. Or even seasoned it after it was fried, but boring. BUT theu do give you a side of ranch which tasted really amazing and i believe made in house, but i could be wrong. Other than that this Place Resembles like a Red Robin, minus servers and a bar. They use the Buzzer concept just like Cici's Pizza does which lets you know when your food is ready. They offer dine in, take out, and also Drive Thru. Place was clean for most part, had decent music playing. Does offer outside patio access to dine. Was a great experience and will return again. Downside to this place is they only offer two combos otherwise you have to buy everything individually. But like i said this place feels similar to Red Robins, but at a cheaper price. Great burgers for a better value, this is a must...
